You could try Jasc Paintshop Pro. The newest versions will run you around 60 dollars (I think it's on special right now from the site, with Photo X2 marked down from $99). Of course, you could just quickly search Google for a cracked copy of PSP7 or 8. Faststone Image Viewer offers a few basic photo editing options, although it's best feature is the effective re-size tool that I find very useful and doesn't make the picture look like crap after reducing/enlarging. This one is free, but it doesn't really have that many editing features. Adobe Photoshop is kind of out of the question, since you said you wanted something relatively cheap and Photoshop is anything but. Those are the only ones I've personally spent much time with. I can't speak for the other programs out there since I have never tried them out. |

Try the Gimp. I know a lot of people that use it, and it does a lot of the same things Photoshop is capable of doing, and it's also free and pretty simple to use, and there are tutorials available here to help you out if you need assistance. ------- |

Where is the gimp? Where can I find it? And thanks for the other suggestions!!! I will definatly research that. Also, I might invest in Adobe for videos (the video editor, for my AMVs), does that come with a photo editor too? |

Google it, you'll find it easy. And the only thing that comes with Photoshop is Imageready (CS2). ------- |
