Goriest. Nice word xD Lucky Star probably scared me the most. Not really seen an anime that's scared me really. It terms of gore, guess it'll have to be Hellsing Ultimate. That's amazing gore though :D

luckily, there are no animes that scare the hell out of me like "Happy Tree Friends" did for goriest, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan is one. Bringing gore to a family fun level with cute angels

5 words : Urotsukidoji - Legend of the Overfiend I watch H-anime sometimes & this is by far the most graphic series i've ever seen. Even though i'm so used to anything this was disturbing to watch at times.  |

[@Kirky] What kind of nightmares? Though somehow, I get what you mean, or "feel" like I do. :O [@H] lol, that was some combination or comedy/blood-gore/kawaii, for sure. [@Izumo] "I watch H-anime sometimes..."... XD Hmm, Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi was kind of gory. Not really scary though, but still gross with the body parts. I remember this one anime I saw way back, where blades would cut flesh, but those parts would be in insane detail. Not sure if it might've been a rare OVA of some sort. It didn't "scare" me, but gave me a tingle down my spine, cause I hate seeing stuff like that in general. I know there's one I'm forgetting, that might've actually scared me. >_<;;

Happy Tree Friends was insane. Nooo don't think of it, I'll get the song in my head. >.< Haha, I was only joking about the Lucky Star-age. It doesn't really give me nightmares, maybe about how cute they all are. ^^. Was Devilman quite gory/scary? It was one of the first anime that I saw that had a swear word in it. But I think it was quite gory too. I think that I was only 13/14 when I saw it. hehe. On another note: Maria Sama Ga Miteru is quite a scary series ;)

I can't find any horror anime but manga.. Oh, well. Manga : Uzumaki. It's not scary. Just disgusting. And those pictures are kinda realistic-like.     |

I thought we were talking about gore? Not scary-ness? Oh, well. As for gore, the only one I've seen that fits is Elfen Lied. Not nightmarishly frightening, but the first five minutes alone will scar you for life. |

Ohhh~ Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was awesome... *_* It was the perfect amount of cute with the perfect amount of mystery, a dash of romance and tons of crazy killer laughs. It goes without saying that there's blood 8D |

Well i can't put gore in the same place with scary, because to me gore is fun time. Splattering blood and body parts are fun to watch. So i really approve of elfen lied, for starters. Then lately i've been watching kara no kyoukai in which blood, twisted bodies, and organs are animated so beautifully. |

Hehe, I've seen youtube vids of the Mion~ or is it Shion~ maniacal laugh! It's crazy man. And Sai, someones just recently recommended me that kara no kyoukai. Is it good then? Haha, "Gorno" as a specification, that's brilliant. I think I've been meaning to watch Gantz for like 8 years :/. I'll get round to me plan to watch list eventually. Hehe, someone agrees that Lucky Star was scary xD. Not gory though! Haha.

I've never actually been scared by an anime, but for gore factor I say that Hellsing Ultimate is one of the best. Elfin Lied was pretty gory, mostly only the first episode with a few other parts too. School Days has a few gory scenes in it that didn't scare me, but I did almost get sick from them. Higurashi is probably my favorite though just for this scene Creepy stuff...  |
