Hi guys, this is my first time to post a new thread in this forum and if it has a thread already, please delete this at once.hehehe... I love this show and like Kuroshitsuji, it is currently airing in Japan. Here is the synopsis: Skip beat is a japanese shÅjo manga by Yoshiki Nakamura. It is the story of Kyoko Mogami (最上 ã‚ョーコ ,Mogami KyÅko?) a 17-year-old girl who discovers that her childhood friend and romantic goal, Sho Fuwa, only keeps her around to act as a maid and earn his living expenses, as he works his way to become the top pop idol in Japan. Furious and heart broken, she vows to get revenge by beating him in show business. In Japan, the manga was first published in Hakusensha's shÅjo manga magazine Hana To Yume in February 2002, while in the United States, it began publishing under Viz Media's Shojo Beat label in 2006. As of June 2008, nineteen volumes have been released in Japan, and as of March 2009, seventeen volumes have been released in the United States. In 2002, a drama CD adaptation was made and released by Marine Entertainment, and covers the first volume (chapters one to five) of the manga. An anime adaptation is produced by Hal Film Maker, and began airing October 5, 2008. It is also aired in Singapore on Okto with English subtitles every Friday at 11pm. Its a must watch anime and guys, its worth the time hehehe..You'll gonna laugh all through out the episodes because the characters are funny and the graphics is great.^_^ |

Hey, ya know you can search threads right? Nothing came up for Skip Beat so you should be alrite ^^. It's got Inoue Marina and Konishi Katsuyuki and that Miyano Mamoru fella. And they're all ya need for an anime :D. I've regrettably only seen like 4 eps of this series :'(. But what I did see I enjoyed :D

| Skip Beat is great and I'm currently watching it on Okto. The scenes when Kyoko unleash her grudge devils were hilarious. |

I love this anime so much i watching it on Okto too but next week is the last episode feel so sadz. any1 noe it got season 2?if have i looking forward to watching it i will wait for it

Any season 2? The ending seems hanging. I mean what happened to Ren in the "Dark Moon"? And did Ren and Kyoko finally realize the chemistry between them? Oh my... I really get addicted to the show! Btw, they are going to shoot a live action drama based on this series. It's Taiwanese drama, played by Lim Yi Chen and Jerry Yan. |

ahahah it takes a LONG time for kyoko to realise she likes ren and otherwise. lol. the manga is still ongoing.. if im not mistaken the anime ended at volume 13 chap 77 of the manga. :3    |

i have seen both the manga and the anime.. @ben yeah.. i think they stopped at that part.. the part where kyoko takes the role of mio, i think.. the anime as a whole is great but it's so good that i want more from it.. anyways there is the manga,, up to now i'm waiting for the continuation of the manga.. hahaha.. i've been thinking that sho may be in love with kyoko now.. and i hate that vie-ghoul by the way.. hahaha kyoko pronounces it as beagle..  |

| I've read and watched the anime and manga. Very funny anime xD. I liked the part when she takes part in Sho's MV. She totally wanted to strangle him haha....it's a must see scene ^-^. Too bad in the anime it suddenly stopped. I wanted to see what happends to ren.... |

The manga is great, but the anime are awesome!! The effect! Makes me laugh LOL yep, it is a cliffhanger. Hope there is season 2 soon =.='' The manga is still on going, right?

Yeap it's still on-going but even I feel like it's starting to drag on way too long. I would love love love for a second season of Skip Beat! but even if they do, will there ever be any romantic progression between Ren and Kyoko? I'm just dying to see them get together, ahaha. But even after 155 Chapters, they haven't! DDD: I would love to see them have an established relationship, etc. If only, if only. xDD   |

If only Amanda xD I LOVE skip beat! one of the best shoujo mangas evar!!! And i really would LOVE a second season. The anime version was really well made. I just wish the Soundtrack was better =/   |

amandaa : Yeah, I agree. I think K|Ren and Kyoko romance will only rotating around in circle for a while. Those two are full of denial to each other feelings XD XD I hope it will end soon though :3 Ddly : Yep, the songs is not the best song for the anime I think, though some of the songs in the anime itself are quite interesting :)

| omgomgomg! i LOVE skipbeat! was my first ever anime! it got me hooked for weeks. and i couldnt stop thinking about it for ages! its soooooo awesome! (although...graphics arent great...but...) the anime was AWESOME. but since i watched the anime first, i cant be bothered to start over and read the manga. plus manga and anime sometimes are different and its hard to find where you're up to and stuff...but...in the end, i did randomly start on a later chapter in the manga. but...just not the beginning. anyways, kyoko x corn ftw~! XDD |
