(I'll try and make a fancy title logo a little later, have to work today.) Story: S.D 802 - An unexplained energy surge is detected if the far reaches of space as it makes contact with a barren planet. Upon investigation the planet is found to be infested with all manner of hostile monsters which the Intergalactic Federation classify as 'Demons'. S.D 803 - Energy surges begin hitting planets everywhere and the 'Demons' begin to integrate into the ecosystems. Advanced planets are aided by the Federation in killing the monsters and remain mostly the same thanks to technology, however underdeveloped planets which all groups are forbidden to contact are caught in turmoil, some attempting to eliminate all manner of monsters while others attempt to use some of them to their advantage in wars with other factions. S.D 804 - Several ships are discovered in orbit around select planets. The members of Angelus, a faction independant from the Federation, are revealed to have sent battleships to the planets but their reasons for doing so are kept a secret. With monsters becoming increasingly common and political conflict raging between the Federation and Angelus over the causes and solutions, people of all sorts have taken up interest in fighting the monsters for local residents in exchange for goods. Some have even violated the Underdeveloped Planets act in order to acquire local items to sell on black markets. Personal ships have gone missing along with these people and the mystery surrounding the energy and monsters is ever growing. Overview: This is a Star Ocean RP, but even though the time is S.D 804 I'm not considering the events of the Star Ocean games canon because it would just cause confusion at some point and it's easier to make things up with no past events to keep in mind. The story might take a bit of time to get full structured, I have an idea but I'm kind of at a loss at the moment on how to keep it going, but it is late so I'll figure something out. Guidelines: -RP Masters Guide to RP'ing -There are only a few planets you can go to. It just keeps things simple. -Symbology is allowed (Magic) but you can't have your character be a master of both magic and weapon skill. -Any kind of weapon is allowed, gun, sword, spear, dagger, whatever you want really (within reason of course). -Maximum of 3 main characters. -Each one of your characters is allowed a personal ship. Either each character can have a ship, or you can have a medium ship built for a couple of people. Large scale ships are not allowed. -If you plan to stop, please tell me. Nothing worse than characters vanishing in the middle of something with no idea if they will be back. -You can travel between planets freely, but try to limit skipping between them in a single post (or what's called teleporting in the RP masters guide). Two of the planets will be considered Underdeveloped, so when you are on them you can't land your ship anywhere near towns or cities. If your character is a resident of an Underdeveloped planet then you won't have a ship to use and will have to hook up with other RP characters that do have a ship. I can handle things in some way if you don't. Underdeveloped Planets Act: A law across the universe enacted by the Federation which prohibits any contact with planets that are deemed Underdeveloped. The act was introduced as a way to both protect civilizations which aren't yet ready for advanced technology as well as study advancing civilizations and how the different planets affect progress. When the planets have reached a certain level of technological advancement, a Federation envoy is sent to the planet to introduce cultures to the truth about what lies beyond their planets atmosphere. All residents of Developed Planets are forbidden to have contact with Underdeveloped ones, however in the event of an emergency landing on such a planet, all beings are required to keep SD age equipment and technology out of view of locals and are not to reveal any details about their origin. Planets: Garmin - Underdeveloped Planet[Forbidden] Planet is in a Medieval Earth stage of development. Two of the three main kingdoms are currently in a stalemate while the third kingdom remains neutral. Due to scientific advancements that appear to be ahead of it's suggested age, at least one of the kingdoms is believed to have seen the Angelus battleship orbiting the planet. Therefore the kingdoms may be hostile to anyone they find dressing or acting in an odd manner. Earth - Developed Planet[Federation HQ] A planet from which humans originated from, it has become mostly a tourist planet now with many large scale resorts scattered along the equator while the rest of the planet is left mostly empty. It is also the location of the Federations military headquarters and is home to a large fleet of warships. Vex II - Underdeveloped Planet[Forbidden] A planet in it's early stages of development. Several small villages have been seen across the planet with much larger villages growing in size quickly. No wars have been witnessed taking place on the planet and the monsters seem to have become a source of food for the people. The locals appear to be a cross between humans and foxes, with tails spotted on all of them. Vex I - Developed Planet[Open] A planet which mainly operates as a trading post and observational station. Many shops and trading outlets can be found in the main city and because of this it is the main source of illegal trade. The planet also acts as a station for observation of Vex II and it's development. Due to the presence of high traffic and an observational post, there is no Angelus ship operating in the area, including the area around Vex II. Colonies - Developed Stations[Open] Large space colonies designed as living spaces for millions of people, as well as rest areas for passing ships that travel through space or planet to planet. Each one has it's own elected government and are not controlled by the Federation, however the colonies do represent part of the Federation and are protected as well as policed by them. He has a natural curiosity for things despite his careful nature, this leads him to many of the planets, including the underdeveloped planets, in an attempt to find out the cause of the monster appearances. Name: Jillian Saliness Age: 22 Gender: Female Race: Human Weapon: Laser Pistol Symbology: Healing, Ice, Ailment Cure Pic:  Bio: Recently discharged from her position as a Pilot in the military due to a mess up that resulted in damages to the ship, she attempted to find an alternate means of employment and ended up taking a job from Victor to fly a ship he had acquired. She eventually decided to stay with him as a partner after developing a friendship with him. She tends to be clumsy when relaxed but skillful when put under pressure.    |

Name: Amrit Daerre Age: 20 Gender: Male Race: Human Weapon: DaeNodachi  Symbology: Lesser Heal(can heal lesser wounds) Pic:  Bio: Since Amrits father was skilled swordsman, and his Mother skilled in Symbology, Amrit was always skilled with swords and at young age his father gave him their family sword DaeNodachi, his mother, teached him little about symbology, and he is using it only in critical situations, though there never was a situation like than in his life. Since Amrit is curious person, and a little bit of adventurer, he travels from planet to planet, trying to help people in need, and trying to find out anything about the Demons appearence Well, i hope everything is fine ^^ looking forward this RP, looks interesting  |

He loves to fix things. He found a ship in one of the planets he went, fixed it and uses it to travel freely. He finds the presence of monsters pretty irritating because he travels to ruins alone...so he's trying to find out something about the monsters.  |

Well, for my profile~ Name: Aruruu (Arujji , Aru-chan) well, I like her name XD Age: 10 Gender: Female Race: Half Human Half Animal Weapon: None, anyways, she can use Mukkuru when fighting XD Symbology: Wood, Earth, Heal Bio: Born in the Vex II, as you can notice by her ears and tail. Aruruu is a shy and non-talkative girl. She always be with her pets, Mukkuru (white tiger) and Kajatara (you see, he's on her head in the pic below.) Somehow, she can understand animal language. Wow, everyone has something to do. No problem. Whenever you want to put your profile up is fine and pictures are only optional, so don't worry about that. If you haven't RP'ed before, just take a quick look over my RP Masters Guide to RP'ing at the top of the Gendou City section. It doesn't matter if you haven't before, it's not that hard. @Makona - That's alright. Most of my RPs so far have died out quick, so you may be right in waiting to see how this goes. |

Symbology: Major: Fire, Wind, healing Well known: Water, ice, earth started: dark, holy, tech. pic:  bio: Living on the planet VexII, he studies old magic and applies them with fighting. Working in a delivery service with his Friend Jonomi, he movies with incredible speed. low in power, his magic makes up for his weak physical make up. he often trains to be better at martial arts. He lost his parents when he was only 5 in a raid. he is now fighting to prevent any more deaths in his village and his friends. okay here is my second. Name: Jonomi Duko gender: female Race: 100% human weapon: Close quarters mage fighter Symbology: Major: Water, Ice, Wind Well known: Dark, Healing, holy Started: Fire, Earth, tech. Pic:  Bio: Born in the planet VexII, her parents left her alone in the streets do die when she was 6. Then she found a boy fighting near the playground. That boy was also alone. they decided to fallow each other. From then on, She fallowed tenjeku and trained with him. she also works in the delivery department. she often likes to wear different cloths, even if it means to steal them. XD her attacks are close range ice and water attacks. her long range is only dark and holy. her healing magic is not as good at tenjeku but it gets the job done. ^_^ she and tenjeku usually spar each other but always make a big mess. :P |

@Kanetsuki- You don't have to travel from planet to planet. I'm going to try and have something going on both underdeveloped planets so that the characters there can stay in things. If your character is a native of either underdeveloped planet however then you won't be able to use a ship or travel to other planets (because other planets are not supposed to contact underdeveloped ones), however if you come into contact with another RP character that Does have a ship then you can travel with them to other places. @Kira- Looks good. Okay, we'll start as soon as everyone has their profile done so I can see where everyone stands. |

Ok, how about i'm just like a federation guy who stays at his post on Earth and monitors things with the Demons and Angelus. Rarely takes action, but notices things and solves them by commanding people(yay!), also never travels from planet to planet, whether he is forced to later is still a mystery ^^ Okay, the guys name is: Mitsuru (no last name) Age: 20 Gender: Male Breed: Half human, half (hmm) wolf-like. Weapon: Once skilled with a spear, but now just happy with his post at the Federation. (Dunno symbology) Bio: Young for his high post in the Federation as a Division Commander. Very talented and smart. People turn to him for answers and he is vigilant in finding out what exactly is behind the deal with the demons. How about this ? Note: (if allowed,) people can ask my character questions and directions throughout the game and I woudl think of something that your character can do ^^ ok, could be cheating, but part of my character is that he leads, so it would be nice if he can do his job ^^ Great job on the RPG Jonathon ^^ |

@Makona- That seems fine to me, although it doesn't seem like you'll be doing much. You are just waiting to see how it goes though, so I guess it's fine either way. I think I'll start things now, I don't want to wait too long or people will forget about this. I'll make a logo image and everything tomorrow, hopefully after work if it isn't too late at night.
