Awww.. Terror not joining in on conversation? :c @Alice~ Read the first post. Then PM Engel the name you want to use and a phrase. ^^ @DA~ Ohhh its him. Some Wallace and Gromit film?? It astonishes me that he lost. I was told that all of Miyazaki's films are like GOLD. I think I am a semi-neat freak. I can be extremely tidy at one point, they next day I don't care where I throw things. About the food situation. I know one of my friends had his parents pay for all of his food. ALL OF IT. But in most cases I saw the part time job thing. Most places will hire you if you are still attending school. So I am told. College tour, have fun! ^^ @H~ Chinese restuarant. Part of my job was also to get the white rice and box it for TO GO orders. So hot white rice + paper box = burning fingers. The heat that comes out of the box is ridiculous. Then there are some of the food that sticks out a little of the TO GO boxes. :o   |

[@GM] Yeah, but I don't think Miyazaki-san was even phased by it, since I read he enjoys Wallace and Gromit, but it should've been an obvious victory none-the-less. I'm excited for Saturday really, though I might be super cranky since I'm going to a show the night before, and most likely I will sleep really late in the night, and be cranky the next day cause of my mom. XD When I first saw the main office, where I have to go to on Saturday, I thought it was the actual school, but then I remembered there's four other buildings (for each main course - four total), so yeah, it's scattered in the area. Ugh, driving there is going to be boring as hell. I might wanna drive, cause I'll be bored as hell, and my aunt can give me directions for little details there. I'm just gonna print out directions, cause I don't remember exactly where it is. Plus, the main office is hidden in between the streets, and around this area, the streets are small, and street signs can be easily unseen!

Eeerrrk... Kinda quiet today. @DA~ Seems since he is a fan of it, I can't see him being phased by it. A show before the next morning event. Good luck! xD That reminds me of that random job I went to interview for. The place was like 45 min. away from the house. I ended up passing it twice until I called the guy for better directions. It ended up in some door thats in between this strip mall. Waaay too hard to find. Though, if you have a map, it shouldn't be any problems. Just make sure you have their number or something. Just in case you do get lost. |

We have a map, and my dad was with us the first time we drove there, but he won't be there Saturday, obviously... Seems his situation is worst and I'm not sure what to do, or what they're going to do. T_T I wanna drive, cause I'll be getting used to it soon someday anyways. Also, I'm dLing Laruku albums and making a CD, though I wish I wasn't only limited to like, 80 minutes of songs. D: Jesus, CDs need to be larger, but this is the only type I have at home, and I just stole a CD from my sister since she's not home. Don't have one of those wires that you can hook your iPod/MP3 player too, so a CD is better than the boring radio with its crappy hits. D: I can't complete the application for Sheetz, for some reason, cause it says I have an application saved up, but every time I go back to send it, it sends me back to the first page, so now I can't apply at Sheetz, and it's the only way to apply. >_>;;

Even having a map, I do have problems, but nothing that my manly instincts of direction, that have guided my ancestors during their nomadic lives, can solve it. Actually, being lost make a great deal of the good memories of a road trip itself. The other part is unevenly distributed among food one carries, the countryside and urban areas and the funny things that some drivers do. I hope that when I finish my studies I can travel often, there's simply too much of South America I haven't seen and taste. Burning a CD or taking an mp3 player or pen drive for the songs is totally necessary. Here, with the only exception of some area on the south and southeast, you got no radio on the road (well, we keep receiving the waves until 100 km, if you were on a big city, after the town), so you gotta have your own music. I remember that in some gas stations on the road, you still can find cassette tapes, even from artists whose songs I like. |

@DA~ Hope your dad gets better soon. You driving down there would be best. That way you can get a better memorization of driving to it. Inlcuding if thats the final school of your choice. I still need to drive around this area. I haven't memorized one route to a certain mall. I use to have to plug my CD player through the tape player. I prefer the iPod through the tape player now though. I think its only like 10$. I assume the Sheetz application is an online one. For some reason, I like the hard copy applications better. Since you have hand it in, in person as well. That way the place gets to know what kind of person you are. I think I might have had 1 or 2 applications not work, due it having a malfunction like that as well. I wished that online ones would at least send a confirmation email saying that the application went through. :c @Sammann~ lol Manly instincts of direction?? I think I might have that. That or childish instincts of direction. I used it to find the nearest ToysRUs. xDD Gas stations still sell cassette tapes?? :o @Oniichan~ Welcome back! ^^ lol I don't want to go into lurking mode! xD Though I might have to if my connection just HATES me. They needed a quick replacement for a day, thats all. My little cousin just got a slight fever at random. They have no idea what it was. But, I have realized I don't like working for 10-12 hrs. in one day. =__= No, still no job. I applied for the ToysRUs here anyways and some random gas station. The gas station had a Now Hiring sign up, so I applied for it. The gas stations application was really short though. o__O |

[@samsonov] Yeah, but I think my aunt who's also going with me said she wanted to take the train, because she doens't want to deal with traffic and parking and all that. D: Actually, I don't know what we're doing today, though it's still early and I'm heavily exhausted and sleepy. She said we're going to take the train, so I'unno, that might be nice, never went on a train before. [@Kira] My dad is better. I went to see him yesterday. He told me that the cancer he has is some liquid cancer, which can be cured with some kemo medicine or something. I'm not too detailed with what he said about this, but luckily, it's nothing life risky, which I thank god for. He was eating like normal yesterday, but still a bit of discomfort after he ate because his stomach would get larger quickly, but it wasn't any pain, more like indigestion or something, which to me is normal. His body fat is returning because he was getting so skinny being in that hospital. He couldn't eat though, but the food they gave him was crap. :O I think he can come home today, but he'll still have to visit the doctor to get treatment and whatnot to treat this cancer. This week has been one of the longest, more stressful, emotional weeks in a long time. Seriously. [@GM] The Sheetz one is an online-only type application process, and they won't accept my application. I hate when websites have these errors because it's like, nobody bothers to fix them. :/ Guess I gotta look somewhere else, which pretty much narrows things down to zero job openings. Jesus, I hate finding jobs. Job market today is tough. I can only imagine during and after college.

I'd like to travel on a train. We don't have it for traveling reasons, basically is for the transport of raw materials. We do have it on some metropolitan regions (only in two of them I think), transporting people around, but that hardly fits a scenario for some Agatha Christie story so.. The government in the state I live talks about making a passenger train to this touristic attraction we got 'cause of the money we'll get for the projects related to the 2014 World Football Cup. However FIFA hasn't chosen our city to host it nor our government can be much trusted. Oh yeah, 2014 Cup will be in Brazil XDDDD Kira & Gmeismann: The funny thing about the cassette tapes is that the image of the artist I've seen is still the same, for male artists, since female ones change periodically their style. Don't worry about your manly sense of direction, it's there, dudes, just waiting for the time to show up, as remnant of a time in which we ran free through the wild. DA: Great to know that your father is recovering, and I hope he recovers fast, G-d bless, man. By the time you finish college, I think it's 4 year-long in the US, the economy in your country and pretty much around the world will be on its feet again, so it won't be as tough as it nowadays |

My dad returned home today, but since he had his chemo treatment today or something, he's fairly weak. I'm glad he's home though. I was just about to buy a crap load of balloons and drive out, then my mom calls me a second after, how ironic is that? About college, the lady at Full Sail really wants me to go, haha, but she brought up the choice of taking courses online. I still get that free macbook pro, and about dorming and utilities, I don't need to worry about them of course. Though the other side is that I don't make new friends, travel around, get used to being dependent, etc. There's a huge dilemma right now. I gotta once again do more financial aid crap for Ai Philly, but I'm going to apply for Full Sail for online courses this week, cause the deadline I think is like, next Tuesday. Right now I'm very happy, cause my dad is home, mainly, but I love Full Sail, but either way I'll still be close to family and be able to take care of them.

@DA~ Well... if there are the chances that the Sheetz is hiring. I would suggest to ask the Sheetz there about it. More than half the time, one of the workers or managers would know what is wrong with the application. And hopefully they can tell you some way around it. Times are tough now to get a job. I had a friend who had a friend that had a college degree. He attempted to apply for some fast food place. He didn't even get hired. @Sammann~ I always wanted to travel by train before. Never got the chance though. :c lol I wait for the day of the "Manly Sense of Direction." xDD |

I know because my dad got one too 2 years ago, some liquid type in his bone. He'll have his last checkup this april @gmeis fast food, college degree, and rejected? is it really that hard to find a job? I'm starting to worry about my future -_-;; well since this is sunday, I need to get my lazybutt moving ^^ Gotta go get some fresh air outside, maybe go to church if I feel like it... Been staying in the house for I don't know how long, ah the life of a NEET...

Sam@ i'd love to board on trains but.. >.> my place's train seems to go other states than my own places :c.. simply to say,my place has no MRT xD i wonder how it's like to board a train.. it would be fun :D i went to the store yesterday and then i found out the store is still selling cassettes xD too bad i gave the radio to my mom =x if not,i want to try some casettes :D Gmeis@ hmm.. maybe you should try to find those that need for temporary workers or part-time workers.. they usually have slots for these :D though the salary paid is lower o.o and also.. i think it's best to find one or more than two jobs like this :D just so you have enough money? [@GM] Yeah, well one of my friends work there at Sheetz, and he said that they can't really do anything about it, and the only way to apply there is using their online application. I might try to apply like, somewhere else, but other than using my computer, might be risky, cause you enter personal information that I don't feel comfortable leaving on another computer other than mines. There's always this Giant near me, or somewhere near my school, but I told myself that it'd be the last choice I'd pick cause I really do not want to work there. I might try Best Buy again, who knows, cause I found an easier way to get there without going fully on the highway. Getting a job is always tough, but around here it's literally like nobody has anything to offer. :/ [@Kira] Toys 'R Us... I've never heard of anyone working there, and it's literally been years since I've even been in the store. :O [@H] Yeah, I've never experienced this type of situation before, so everything is hard. My dad will be at home for a little while, because he can't really work or anything, and the fact that his work place is moving makes things works as ex-plan B result. It'll take the next few months until he's fully recovered, but let's hope he makes a speedy, healthy recovery. [@Adel] I'll watch over him whenever I'm home, so hopefully nothing goes wrong. He has to take medicine, and my mom has to monitor when he takes it (cause it's one of those scheduled type things). I'm worried for all of my family, cause my grandfather is sick, my grandmother is going to be out of work soon, too, it's just rough. It's like the depression is coming back or something.

I had to keep closing and re-open and relog in. :c lol Thanks! I am tempted to try another fast food place and some pizza place. The last fast food place I applied still hasn't called me. It's been like 2+ weeks now. I don't trust the Now Hiring signs anymore. =__= @H~ Well... its happening around in the U.S. for all I know. I just recently found out my cousin with a 4 yr. degree just got laid off. But she was about to quit that job anyways. Plus, the place is paying her 5 months of pay after the lay off. @Adel~ lol I applied for mostly basic things that even kids still in High School can be hired for. I put down for Part-Time only. I am tempted to put Full-Time. I think I will worry about 1 job first, before trying to maintain 2. xDD @DA~ Thats not good. Well... best of luck to us both. I attempted a last resort in Virginia and it failed. The place didn't hire me. I do suggest to try Giant and fill out an application anyways. I mean it couldn't hurt. Lately... it makes me feel like I need to leave the country to get a job. o____o |
