Vampires ~> "Cold-Blooded " or "Loving"?
Link | by on 2008-12-22 10:42:47
Lately (for those who haven't noticed), there seems to have been a rise in vampire obsession. I'm not going to place all the blame on the Twilight series or the Vampire Knight manga/anime (though they do seem to be the catalyst of the increase in vampire obsession)

I would just really like to know why vampires are "SO HAWT AND SEXY!!" Such said expressions honestly puzzles me O_o So please, feel free to write down your honest thoughts.

I'm open to any explanation...except for "THEY JUST ARE!!", which is what I've heard the most from my friends -__-"

Also, do you think vampires should be potrayed as "cold-blooded, ruthless, and bad a**" like Alucard from Hellsing? Or "loving, protective, and pretty boy-ish" like Kaname from Vampire Knight? (Or I guess Edward from Twilight)

well its probably because of all that bitting in the neck thing. kind of similar to that display of affection.
they find it interesting and why not make a vampire that would look good doing it.

When I heard about vampires, even when someone mentioning it, it brought me full attention. It's not necessary about the neck-biting, tall skinny pale-skinned jet-black haired gentlemen and sleeping in their respectable coffins... they are rather intriguing nocturnal beings, fictional or real, the strangeness makes it admirable.

Vampire Knight is not the vampire story I always perceived. I never a fan of vampire stories and all that, but watching this anime opened up my thoughts on vampires. Why were they constantly craving for blood? We have abundant source of food and drink, and blood is the ultimate cordial of all. Odd.
I always perceive vampires' behaviours are similar to humans. They somehow possess the human body form, the brain, the organs~ sure the strong and weak characteristics would define each vampire differently. Oh hell, I don't know. This feels like I'm talking to a wall.

Kaname-senpai is such a graceful pure-blooded vampire~~~ :3333

i've watched several films and anime including vampires.
moon child, vampire knight, black blood brothers, and twilight (unfortunately)

what makes them "hot"?
they are vampires. they feed themselves by drinking blood of human. but they try their hardest not to do that. they want to stop but they just can't. they are cursed human, to feed on human being. but when they restrain from drinking human blood specially those who are very close to them, it does make them hot. (i thought it was easy to explain this but i think i was wrong. XD)

if they fail being "hot" then there goes their being "sexy". XD
the time that they can't control themselves on feeding on human will always come. and when they drink human blood, they bite the human's neck slowly and then drink his/her blood. i wish could explain that in a better way but i don't have the talent for that. it's like you are being kissed on the neck but with a major twist. vampire's way of kissing someone's neck is very sexy. (i wished hyde would bite me everytime i watch moon child. the most sexy vampire for me! XD)

"they are cold-blooded."
when you think that they regret the fact that they feed on human blood but still continue doing it i think that's where their being cold blooded enter. because they can't do anything about it they just continue doing it. regardless of who's blood they are drinking.

"vampires are either bad or good".
just like any other film you always have protagonists and antagonists. same goes with the vampires. there are good vampires and bad vampires. if there is only good vampires what good plot can you have from it? that's why the exixtence of a "ruthless, and bad a**" vampires are very important. to make the existence of the good vampires extremely gorgeous.:)

but don't expect too much from good vampires. they are good but they are not perfect. they still have their flaws... which makes them more attractive. :D

cold blooded of course, Twilight ruined vampires for me.... they're "hot" because they're mysterious and flawless (except for the killing you part lol).... I don't really think they're "hot", every movie makes them hot though... lol
