The manga is much better than the anime version -.- the bad news is funimation changed most of the characters name and detective conan was changed to "case closed"

I love Detective Conan! I like to try to figure out the mystery before he does, though I usually don't.

I like the Manga version better, only because I don't like Ran's voice actress... You're a good guy, or bad guy? I don't care, I'm a 'mix' guy.

AH! I thought the kids' names odd, wasn't sure if that had changed them or not but now I know. And yeah, the alternate name is pretty goofy. Personally I like the show, but I'm a sucker for any kind of mystery... even if they are easy to figure out most of the time.

I have never read the manga but I like to watch the show. I like any mystery type of shows... kinda weird actually cause I watch the black and white show on Sherlock Holmes. I also watched it on Fox on Saturdays until the kept showing re runs all the time. Anyway, Case closed is one of my favorite Animes.My favorite anime list is (top 5) Trigun Inuyasha Case Closed Rurouni Kenshin Yu Yu Hakusho

Dont you hate it when ppl change names of anime as they are being imported well the show from Asia I say we Rebel and take down some of the top American Anime Companies such as VIZ and BanDAI WOLFS RAIN IS THE BEST!!!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that it was the Japanese owners of the Detective Conan license that insisted on the name changes (most of which aren't bad, imo.)

Detective conan is one of the BEST detective shows! In my opinion, though, I think that the english version SUCKS.

i prefer their original names. but the english ones aren't so bad ^_^ the movies are so cool! i really liked the movie CountDown To Heaven; it was so tense! much as id like to collect the series, i think it's impossible now o.0 i mean, 300+ episodes...

The anime is nice but it is really long winded. I think it has 419 episodes and it is still on-going. Lol..it got to be one of the longest anime series that I have ever watched.

I love Detective Conan, but the amount of episodes to watch scares me. o_O; I don't think that I'll ever get through the entire series, and this is coming from a person that's watched the entire DBZ series. Other than that, it's a really fun show to watch because I always try to figure out the mysteries before Conan gives the answer. There was one episode in particular that scared the crap out of me, but I forgot what it was called. I love that show! Im addicted to it. I don't like the English version (Case Close) though, the original version is very nice though. I really don't mind the growing number of episodes! ^_^ 生命����無��蜃気楼�る。
