Yup, great show. Confusing though, characters are a bit too overdone and need to relax. but, I guess it's because of the schizophrenia feeling you get from watching that show, ar.  |

@ Saudi-san You may want to fix your avy cause i think the html code isn't closed properly. *Edit* Nevermind looks like it is fixed :) Anyways the series is decent...nowhere near as good as the visual novel counterpart. The visual novel is much more atmospheric & has a higher shock value. Also the scenes they show have a better presentation than the anime counterpart. Some scenes in the anime doesn't have the same effect as the game does. For example when 'Shogun' is revealed for the first time in the anime it was pretty anti-climatic, the game scene is much more mysterious and overall a better scene. What the anime is doing well is showing the 'craziness' that Takumi is experiencing. The balance between reality & non-reality is really well represented in the series, the psycological & state of mind of Takumi. Some things that the anime is a little dissappointing is the on again off again animation. At times it looks great at other times not so much. Although it doens't really bother me too much i've read fans of the visual novel feel it takes away the overall enjoyment. Other things as well is some scenes in the game are changed in the anime version, not sure the reason for this but i believe it is not to be censored too much. Although the music for the series is great i feel the original songs from the game are much better. Most noticable is FES's (Yui Sakikibara) songs...the orginal songs feel alot darker than the ones in the anime. The songs are still good just that i was expecting more. I do like Super Special alot but the words i feel have no relation to the overall theme of the story. I guess my expectations of the anime version compared to the visual novel was maybe a little too high. I was expecting something masterful, the anime is still a good series overall (may change if they mess with the ending)...so far i give it a B- to B score.  |

I've been dLing it but haven't had a chance to check 'em out yet. Gotta dL episode three for some reason it's not in my folder.

yep i agree with izumo... there's many thing in game that different in anime, like the first appeareance of rimi, after takumi saw her in the second new gen... or nanami right hand is seems like cutted with full of blood after she captured by NOZOMI in the game, but in the anime her right hand only like become transparrent... but i have plus poin for the anime, because i think ayase look more cute in the anime(yea, although she's cute in the game too, but when she not used her black lipstick...) o yea for the music i still prefer the game, FDD quite good, but find the blue is more more good than that....  visit aolas.soup.io for your usual dose of seiyuu pics |

I think this anime should change name to IDIOT;HEAD to balancing the title of anime and the quality of this shitty anime... -___- I regretted keep on watching this anime until ep.11... if i know this anime going to suck then i rather watch other anime like Akaneiro Somaru Saka or else -___- The only good thing about this anime is the opening song and ending song...  |

Downloaded episode 12 the last one..lets see if this last one can save it from being a mediocre series. I was so anticipating so much more with this series cause the visual novel is so freakin good. The anime is by far less than what i was expecting. With ef ~a tale of melodies~ the changes they made to the anime from the visual novel was what i would say a slight improvement. With Chaos Head i can't say the same thing. The changes with the anime series compared to the game were so annoying (one would say) that it kinda made the series less enjoyable. I understand they wanna avoid censorship but still it was a disappointing move the creators made. Again episode 12 may save this series in my opinion...however it may not lessen the fact that this series could've been so MUCH more. I still watched it & enjoyed some moments from the anime but again a disappointment in my views. *sigh* Overall i give it a C (C+ if episode 12 knocks my socks off). |
