Has anyone had a chance to try this? Or hear of it? I got access to the demo last night to play and I actually kind of enjoyed it. It's an odd combination of styles, but they work out pretty well. The art style is especially amazing and I really have to give a lot of credit for that. Sega seems to have made a really good looking Next Gen game with this one.    |

I was watching this 7-8 minute clip today in Website Design (got in trouble for it, lol). I wish someone out here could get it so I could check it out myself. :P

I saw this one ON tv before but never got the title. Sega was the pioneer in 3D before now they developed yet another new graphics engine. yeah looks great. "CANVAS graphics engine" really love that wiki. |

DA there is an OST to valkyria chronicles, it came out months after the game was released, i have to say it's freaking decent :DDD

@D.O - Thanks for the screen shots and trailer. I didn't have the time to post them last night. Fixed the spelling error too, used to spelling it Valkyrie. I pre-ordered it today (actually canceled my pre-order for Bioshock PS3 to do it. Bioshock just doesn't beat out a good looking artsy game from Japan). Played the demo two or three times now, I just hope to god it turns out as well as it's shaping up to be. |

@jonathon: no problem, feels good to help out a fellow gendounian, i took the time to search for them so hope it help alot i plan on pre-ordering Littlebig planet just because the little guys look cool & awesome & it's really fun

@Yat- PS3. One step up. XD @D.O- You have a PS3? I've got Little Big Planet already on pre-order. I hope to god I can get an Old Snake and Sepiroth sackboy. The only drawback I've noticed to the game so far is that the English voice cast is kind of hit and miss. Lip syncing seems a little off sometimes. Other than that I'm only afraid of the length of the game, I would love it to be long and offer at least 15 hours of play time, but seeing as how other games this generation only last like 10 at most I'm a little nervous. |

@Jonathon if im not mistaken this game would atleast take for about 15 hours more for normal game type but for pro's, this game wouldn't last for 10 hours I think. Seeing the game somehow tells me that its kinda complicated so more or less 15 hours is the normal time for me.

@jonathon: O_O old snake sack boy!!! they better have the original Snake sack boy cause i'll be a happy camper (for now i'm gonna get noriko sack girl cause it looks awesome) if i'm also not mistaken... games that are this calibur shouldn't be 10 15 hours long, i mean it's kinda armyish so it would be short. to me this game would be right under 30 hours or abit less, thats what i think.

@D.O- Kratos sackboy for me. They only have one kind at each store. Only had Kratos here, although I kind of wanted Noriko. What's your PSN anyway? I just hope it can last a weekend. In this current generation of games, I'm thankful for any games that can manage a weekend of play time before I'm able to finish. Uncharted, Stranglehold, Soul Caliber, Ratchet and Clank, finished them all in a weekend. I played them over, but they only lasted like two days tops first time. |

@D.O - Kratos from God of War. Sorry, should have specified that. Thanks btw. I've played the demo through at least 5 times now and still find it interesting, so many ways to go about the battle. I usually just get Marina(the only available sniper) to pick off the Lancers(anti-tank infantry) while Largo and Yoko(Lancers) take out the tank. Then my tank can pretty easily mortar the crap out of all the soldiers. I hope by "customize over 100 different characters" that they mean you'll be able to get better weapons for them or increase their aim, health (most likely), speed, mobility and etc. I've had at least two instances where Marina's aim went to hell and she missed three shots. |

i bought it today and its not next gen sry. its only up to 720p i was hoping for 1080 at least since its a ps3 game. I love disgaea type rpg so i had to buy it. the leveling system is you use gained exp to level up everyone in that class and upgrade weapons and itll be mass produced for everyone in that class. I find the tank was the coolest since it could take all the enemies out but has trouble with the lancers so i tend to have snipers covering from the rear of the tank. the art style is amazing its like watching manga coming to life unlike anime. you dont even need lancers unless theres more than one tank on their side.  |

It's still next gen. Most game fall towards 720p, same as most HD TV stations lean towards it. I don't mind since I have 720p on my HD monitor, makes it look much better. I got my copy, I played a good 3 or 4 hours straight last night and only stopped to spend time with my girlfriend. I haven't played an RPG for hours like that in a long time, Noturne was the last one. I'm really really loving this game so far, and I'm really impressed by it. The art style continues to astound me. The only problem I'm having with this game so far is this. You are unable to quit or restart a Skirmish or mission. You have to load up a save game. I can kind of understand this in the story mode so as to prevent you from just restarting all the time when things don't go your way and not have a penalty, but it's very annoying in Skirmish, especially when I don't want to finish the mission for whatever reason or know I'm going to fail it. That option needs to be added in. I can't wait for the DLC though. Sounds so awesome. Side story, extra difficulty as well as a pack that lets you play as the bad guys fighting the main characters (You get to be the invaders instead of the defenders). i beat this game and got all the secret characters I cant wait for the DLC I get to use SELVARIA the most beautiful girl in the game im kinda sick of the pedophile lolicon girls. there are actually 12 year old girls in my squad.. I think selvaria weapons should be her G cup assets. any guy that stares at her chests give up their will to fight and lay down their arms and girls run away scared because theirs cant compare to them. gosh im in love with her.. |
