Well... i decided to put it here, as mostly it'll be on anime, but it relates games as well. I'm sure most of you have favorite characters in anime or games(anime games of course :D). So i decided to make this thread. This thread has something like rules. So, they are like this: In your posts you write your character. It's not important if it's your favorite character or no, but it'd be best if you post character that you're interested in at least. Along with the name - you write a short review on that character, like origin, personality, bio and such. You're not limited at length of review, but it's best to be readable. Well, pictures of characters are welcome too, but hopefuly not huge ones... well, some personal thoughts too. I can't say there's much meaning to this, but at least you can recommend an anime or a game by posting and promote a character. But here's the point - as you post the character - make sure he/she wasn't posted before. Otherwise, i'm sure most posts would be the same character :D And you're limited to one post. So, in a way, it's a review on various nice characters and a speed contest at the same time :) Well, in case this thread would be more or less alive - you're okay to make another post, in case two pages passed since your post :) As i'm sure, some would like to post several characters(myself included :D). u mean a character on AMG ? i would introduce to you my favourite one from FATE STAY NIGHT , ARCHER , ACHER or known as 'EMIYA SHIROU OF THE FUTURE' are servant to a master named TOHSAKA RIN , he has an rude attitude and full of pride , but inside he's a really nice person , he's from a archer class hero , mainly use long range weapon but he's a special case for he used a double blades as his main weapon , he's probably the strongest among the 7 servants in the series(my opinion only) , every each servants have a noble phantasm weapon (their special weapon or ultimate weapon) , and ARCHER have a noble phantasm that no one ever known that it is UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS :- he can summons a fixed barrier that no servants can do (for he's not a fighter but a creator) on every fight he would analize the situation 1st , and then he cast a spell in the darkness where he cast a fixed barrier full of blades that he's created when he lived (which is more than thousands) that he call a ULTIMATE SWORDS (he cast his UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS when he fight another servant in episode16 and kill that servant 3 times and he killed another 2 times outside the barrier + the servant have 12 lives) sadly he died during the fight (i cried that time) so that's that . . my introduction on ARCER from FATE STAY NIGHT , please do watch the anime its very touching

@DA: Yeah, something like this :) Oh, and as i mentioned limiting post - in case you'd want to add someone - edit this one later :) By the way, that was not a bad naming you offered, so i'll name the thread like this :) @AveB: Yeah, something like this :) Well, guess i'll join too. Well, the character i'm describing's pretty rare, but it's a nice character :)  So, Satomura Akane from the game One ~Kagayaku Kisetsu e~ and three-episode long ova(don't mistake with four-episode ova, their Akane sucks :D). Age... not stated, but she's a second year of high school and a classmate of the protagonist. Featured character of second episode(each episode of the ovas featured one character). Personality's... well, most likely - unsociable and gloomy. Avoids talking to people, aside from her childhood friend - Yuzuki Shiiko. The secret for her being unsociable is in her past. She had another childhood friend, a guy, who was also disappearing in the same way as protagonist(similar to Torch from Shana). She was the only one who didn't forget him, as he disappeared and always waited for him at the empty lot during the rain. In her scenario - she's saved by Kouhei, but later he disappears the same way. In a good ending - she still remembers him and after a year, he comes back. Quite a touching scene i'd say. Well, her favorite phrase is "ya desu", which she denies protagonist's almost every offer with. The seiyu is... let's see, game says it was someone, named Miru. |

I'll join as well, i will first be describing another character from Fate/Stay Night, one of the cool arrogant types ^^. Its none other than Gilgamesh. An arrogant, selfish, and enigmatic Archer-class Servant. He appears familiar with Fuyuki City and claims to have a past relationship with Saber(Arturia Pendragon). Typically clad in an ornate golden armor, he possesses an immense number of Noble Phantasms, though none are representative of his true identity. Master was initially Tokiomi TÅsaka in the 4th Holy Grail War, who used a fossil of the first skin ever shed by a snake as a catalyst. With TÅsaka's death, Gilgamesh participated with Kirei Kotomine to obtain the Holy Grail, intending to cleanse the world of humanity, which he felt had become corrupted and vile, thus not worth of his reign. When Kiritsugu Emiya killed his Master, Gilgamesh remained in the physical world long enough to be drenched by the pollution within the tainted Holy Grail. Contact with this ichor normally corrupts a Servant's ego, but Gilgamesh resisted submission to the evil influence. However, the saturation converted his spiritual body to one of flesh and blood, and Gilgamesh also become more eccentric and excitable. He is kinda obsessed with Saber. His identity is of the legendary Sumerian King Gilgamesh and makes no effort to conceal this, unlike most other Servants. He also possesses the greatest number of Noble Phantasms. One of them is Gate of Babylon, which designates Gilgamesh as an Archer-class Servant. He lacks proficiency with most of these weapons, Gilgamesh will typically only fire the weapons as projectiles; in several instances, Gilgamesh has removed and normally wielded weapons. It is the hurling of these weapons that designate his class as an Archer. He's probably one of the most powerful servants in the series (in my opinion), along with Archer and Saber. Although he manages to overpower Saber without much injury during their first battle in the 5th Holy Grail War. He was about to finish her with a blast from Enuma Elish, his most powerful Noble Phantasm. But Saber was saved by deflecting the attack with Avalon, scabbard of Excalibur, causing him to retreat. He is ultimately killed by Saber during their second and final battle. His seiryu is Tomokazu Seki, who is also the seiryu of Kyo Sohma of Fruits Basket, Haru Glory of Rave, Yzak Joule of Gundam SEED.

Oooooh, a fan wikipedia!!!! I'll be biographing one of my favorite characters, my anime wife, Saber!!!!! Yup, she's Saber, whose real name is Arturia Pendragon. The daughter of King Uther Pendragon and Lady Igraine, this young warrior was fated to be in the purple from the very start. Her father, when he died while she was still a child, left her the cheiftancy of an unstable regime, which she managed to turn into the greatest and most famous monarchies of all: Great Britain. Saber is very kind and generous. Though she tries to hide behind an impassive mask, she is, in reality, a passionate girl. She prefers discipline over talent, so she's hard on everyone (including herself). She has a strong protective attitude as well.  --> |

Haha, I didn't even suggest it as a title, but no matter. :P I agree with spoilers, if it includes info on the anime (which most likely will). I also suggest paragraph structure, haha. Reading one gigantic paragraph on an anime character might be straining to some. This is just a matter or basic forum style and organizational skills for me, haha. Picky. :D

Fate led her to saving Michishio Nagasumi,a normal human boy, when she saw him drowning during a swimming out there on the sea. The rule of the sea-creatures was that when a human saw their kind, its either they will kill the human witness or kill the sea-creature seen by human. There was only one way to save them both from being killed: It was welcoming the witness as a family through marriage since family wouldn't be counted as an outsider. So, San decided to beg Nagasumi and his parents to take her as his bride.   |

Hmmm....dang.... seeing all the FSN character bios I was wanting to do one for Rin Tohsaka, but I don't think I've read enough of Fate/Zero to give enough background on her family to do her justice. I was also about to do one on Heero Yuy, but one of my old friends and I already wrote the currently used actual wikipedia article for him about 4 or so years ago.

@Massacre - i think you are correct on limiting the posts - but i noticed the characters here are too vague or too h-core. why not try to identify waht is the topic first and go for the famous characters in an anime/game? and as you said, maybe top 3 or top 5 characters that has a large fanbase (much better what kind of lifestyle or hobbies those fanbase have, and what age hehe maybe middle aged men!). i think, if my japanese is correct or something, there is a term for this. if its otaku, it will be too general, so getting a specific term like this is a good idea too (just my humble comments and correct me if i'm wrong). the important thing is, the ordinary people must comprehend this wiki-after all-that is its purpose right? flame away |

@ricci: I didn't understood much of what you just said, but it's true, that some of characters are too vague. But it's the poster's responcibility to make info more or less readable. As for h - i think there's nothing wrong with it. Only that it's better to mention if it is such kind of a character. And yeah, come to think of it - there's no real meaning or purpose behind this thread. I just created it because i wanted to :D But if people can share their favorite characters, that'd be nice for others to know about them. Mostly i hoped people would write about rare but nice characters and sources(anime/games), but as i can see - it's mostly FSN :) Well, this thread's also a race in a way - who can get the right to write about certain character first. And i didn't understand your second phrase completely, the one about term :) |

SPOILER alert X3  Age: Somewhere around 15-17Gender: Male Species: Human Date of birth: April 1 Occupation: Student Known relatives: Decendant of Clow Reed Kimihiro Watanuki, is a fictional character from the anime and manga xxxHolic. He is a high school student whose life has been a rather difficult one — not only have both his parents died, forcing him to live alone, but he is plagued daily by spirits that only he can see (both the ability to see them and the cause of their attacks are evidently heritable traits—apparently Watanuki's blood smells very delicious to spirits). On one run-of-the mill day, while Watanuki is being attacked by a monster, he falls over and his hand touches a fence. Oddly, the monster is instantly repelled. Beyond the fence is a very strange house, and before he knows it, Watanuki has stumbled past the two fence posts and into the courtyard of the house. Two little girls appear at the front door and take him by the hand, welcoming him into the house as a guest. Watanuki argues that he only stumbled in by accident, but a strange voice replies that it was inevitable he stumble in—it was "hitsuzen". This voice belongs to the powerful sorceress YÅ«ko Ichihara, and the home he has stumbled into is actually a store that grants wishes. Its more fun introducing characters from your perspective rather than copying descriptions made by others. That's why it says "Fan-made" anyway, here’s another one^^  From Manga/Anime series Princess Resurrection (kaibustu oujo/怪物王女) Name:Flandre (Furandoru/フランドル） Gender:Apparently Female Specie:Gynoid (much like frankenstein) Occupation:Maid/Driver/Bodyguard A cute maid-gynoid in the service of Princess Lilianne. She is small, and incredibly strong, as well as seemingly invincible. She only says one word: "Fuga". She has a special function in her eyes to view hard-to-see things, her vision has a German language HUD and she knows how to drive vehicles. Being a gynoid, her weight is a few tons and she runs out of power and needs recharging. |

@massacre-hmm as i said, maybe there is another term for this, i mean people who are fans of anime/game characters. should you say 'fanservice?' as majority of the characters in a way caters to fans in anime/game genre, example im a fan of a girl from the future with special abilities and all and comes back through present time wearing a maid suit and serving an uncool guy? of course some production co. will make an anime/game about that topic... well whatever, just make it and we'll see, try to start it immediately and soon it will grow.. |

@ ricci-san I think the point of this thread is to create a descriptions about your fave character from your own point of view. It is easy to copy information from another site but than it's not really your thoughts or idea of that character. Everyone has their own way of describing a character, it all depends on how much 'work' they want to do to describe the character. It explains why some of the posts here are short while others are more in depth. For the most part they are personal thoughts off the 'top of the head'...like first impressions. I think Moggle-san aka. Massacre :D used the term 'Fan Wikipedia' cause it is the fans that add all the information...which is kinda similar to what Wiki does anyways. However here we don't have to include every minor detail. Like i said this is a 'first impressions' description. However i could be wrong about all this though but this is what i think this thread is about. **************** I'll add my contribution soon *Hopefully nobody uses Sailor Venus/Minako-chan :D*  |
