All I can say is that this program is a friggin tank. I put it through one of the most rigorous stress tests I've ever done on a web browser (opened all bookmarks, 18 youtube and nico video pages, had about 3 playing just to test) and not only did it not crash, it allocated bandwidth in such a way that none of the videos I had streaming were interrupted... The only downside is it treats your RAM pretty harshly (I had it eating around 1.4GB of RAM when I did all that)...but considering most computers have at least a gig or more that's not that big a trade off for the stability.

I've try it since yesterday, Google Chrome only eats few memory to run in my computer. it also keep crashing here = / perhaps because it's still beta version, but at least it's faster than another browser. ![]() |

*duomaxwelldoesddr wow,but you know it shouldn't treat your RAM that harshly, unless you do *that* on a regular basis *empoleon so far it hasn't crashed on me since i got it. if there's anything that keeps on crashing, it's firefox2/3. i kept on getting Javascript & flash errors from it also why chrome is as fast as firefox (or maybe more): "By keeping each tab in an isolated "sandbox", we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built V8, a more powerful JavaScript engine, to power the next generation of web applications that aren't even possible in today's browsers." i wonder when it'll start using plug-ins. well it's still in beta, so it'll get better ![]() |

Chrome will be great browser... ^^ The Beta is stable and user friendly... I found incompatibility for some website... but it is because of the browser engine it self... ![]() ![]() |

I use Chrome to debug my websites because of its task manager and individual browser thingy, other than that I would prefer Firefox 3 to browse since my RAM's limited. ![]() |

Task manager on chrome is nice, even network traffic and processor utilization on thread informed.... based on wikipedia page, chrome has many features and faster than FireFox3 and IE... I still use Opera and use chrome for checking compatibility for my website. ![]() ![]() |

@31 yen: I think I have somewhere around 190 (+/- 5) bookmarked pages (neatly sorted into folders), not counting RSS feeds (but unfortunately RSS is a pain to get working in chrome right now...).

(@@ i just installed Chrome (late, i know) and it's being slow on my computer. (u_u FF3 is like that when it was first installed but it seems Chrome's just bent on being slow and i'm not techy enough to figure what's wrong. (~_~; for a browser with an almost totally different layout, it's surprisingly easy to get used to! (o-o/♥ |

Google is slowly taking over the Internet and with good reason... not that I really mind. Yet. Still, Firefox 3 came out at about the same time and since I'm used to it and already love its features, I'll keep that. I've stuck with their browsers since early Mozilla, anyway.
Maka here is an wonderful example of why it's a bad idea to home school your children.
Maybe also a good example of why inbreeding is a bad idea, although the paternity test has not been done to say for sure.

Google Chrome is OK, but I dislike the memory issue. The Graphics eats lots of memory space unlike other browsers. But it is OK. |
