I would LOVE to hear a japanese opening for it... heck my friends would prolly kill me for a copy...
Strictly speaking, in the US the term 'Anime' does not include american animation. The word was coined as a fore-shortening of 'Japanese Animation' which became 'Japanimation' then 'Japanime' in the 70's and 80's and changed to 'Anime' somewhere in the early 90's.
It refers to that unique style and flavor all Japanese animation has and no American Animation has yet successfully managed to capture, reguardless of how influenced the animation style may have become.
At least, that's my understanding of it's use in american english, that is. Not sure what the term implies in other languages?
I don't know if you can request the music of american cartoons on this site, or not... If you can, I bet I could help to supply some.

hmm... so perhaps that's where we got the word after all...
Didn't always use it here, tho.. ^_^
and yet another reason it wouldn't refer to american animation...

There is a japanese opening? You're pulling my leg!
Too Cool! This I've got to hear!
^_^
Any other american cartoons that get shown in Japan?

For anyone wanting to hear it, if you have the DVDs, the last episode on each DVD plays the theme in Japanese, before the episode, while all the other episodes play the theme in English.

Also, their Music Video of the theme song appears in English on the one of the two Teen Titans DVDs that's available in stores, and an interview with them is on the other DVD. (Oh, and the music video is a full-length version, not the TV-Size version you hear before the episodes);

The full (3:06) English version of the Teen Titans theme song is on a Puffy AmiYumi album called "Nice". It's either their first or second American release, although about half of the songs are in Japanese.

I liked the music they make to some extent, but I can't stand watching the show. It's too...well, I can't think of a word that would justify what I feel about that show but I can tell you it's not all that good. But that's only one persons opinion in probably a haze of thousands of people ready and willing to beat me with pocky sticks because of it ._.

On the other hand, I do enjoy Teen Titans, mainly because it's a meld of fun japanese animation influence with the american influence of superhero's I watched...unwillingly when I was little ^^;;

Have you ever seen the show Avatar: the last airbender? It's on Nickelodeon. Now, i'm not a big nickelodeon fan but I've gotta hand it to the creators of this cartoon. It's very interesting to watch! ^^
