maybe . . . .. egg i'm not really sure myself, my physic teacher once ask the same thing but no one could answer it (although, most of my friends prefer the chicken first, hehe)  |

simple question, simple answer Chicken or egg? Chicken came first Egg or chicken? Egg came first ^^;; but seriously, I think chicken came first than the egg, maybe a billion years ago the chicken's ancestors bore a strange birdling, thus was the chicken ^^;; and after the chicken mate with another prehistoric bird, the egg became different... Such is the story of the ugly chicken ^^;;

I say Egg, born from another creature, though truthfully, I never cared when someone asked me this, I just ask to bring me chicken or eggs to eat. ^_~`

Eggs came first, eggs already existed before dinossaurs evolved to feathery dinossaurs. Don't remember the name of the first one. :P  |

i'm gonna go with the egg, cause at the time of the dinosaurs, dinosaurs were born from eggs and they evolved little by little until they somehow got the chicken, and it all starts from the egg.

chicken it is . . . alphabetically speaking. but my friends said that if we're going to base it in the theory of evolution, probably the egg came first because of reptiles. |

Quite honestly, the egg came first, if we're allowed to refer to eggs in general. In terms of 'chicken eggs', the question remains of whether an egg is labeled by what is inside it or what it came out of. Since I believe that an egg containing a chicken must be a chicken egg, I still submit that the egg came first. To put it in another light, if a horse gives birth to a long-necked, spotted foal, is it a horse or giraffe?  |
