Which one flies faster, colours or time? You know how you can pass with flying colours, and how time can fly by? Well, considering they both 'fly', which one flies faster? Also, please try and justify your answer. X)

colours fly faster casue the colours are light, so they travel at light speed, wich acording to Einstien is the fastest you can go o.o Time just fly at a speed of time, wich has to be a slower than ligh XD   |

Sometimes time passes by when you don't even notice since your busy. When bored though, its slow. :p So I stick with colours too. :)   |

the teory of relativity is just so complicated to explain it so i will just say that colours go faster because the teory of relativity says you can even travel in time or things like that if you're traveling at the speed of light(or colours)  |

colors DON'T fly as well as time, colors are light's reflection and time is a stationary variable but your mom can get angry in miliseconds if you don't pass with flying colors xP, and time goes so slow when your mom's mad so they go hand in hand, though I'm more to the colors, so yeah colors are faster :P

but your mom can get angry in miliseconds if you don't pass with flying colors xP I LOL'd xD Colours don't fly, they appear in any time if fit in certain conditions. Like a rainbow, it needs enough light source (sunlight) to be passed through raindrops to appear. I would say only leprechauns would think colours fly. Yah, no pot of gold for wiseguys xD Colours appear slower than time. It'll be different if it's a COLOURED LIGHT. Man, this is rubbish xD THEY DON'T FLY AT ALL!!! |

time flies faster i think..coz i exam is coming nearer.. n i din study colurs..don fly unless ur imagination but i will be death if i din get flying colours too

I appreciate all of your answers! ^^ I decided to contradict science and its relative skeptics and put the answer into a poem. X) Im a science freak, and I believe in my answer! If you want, you can comment on my poem... ^^| As my eyes wonder Into the dark night sky, I stare at it longer And watch the colours fly by And as time tries to catch up With colours at the speed of sound It eventually gives up And lets the world slow down As my heart grows fonder Of the bright morning sky, My head starts to ponder About colours being slower than time When colours near the finish line, Time has already won Even though it’s always out of sight It’s obvious the colours succumbed Time didn’t start any earlier; It didn’t prematurely take flight; Nor are colours anywhere nearer To beating time in the fight So I present you with the conclusion That neither colours or time will win Because there is only one solution: The two must coexist Whaddya think now, huh?!! X)

True, but what about colours? Their speed can vary, whereas the speed of time is always a constant pace. If you omit scientific aspects from the question, there can be more to it than what you may at first realize... Putting it into 'warped logic', such as time and colours racing eachother, can conjure more thoughts than what that of a serious veiwpoint can. Where would one be without the other? Would time end up brightening your mood if colour wasnt there to look at? Colours wouldnt change without time... What about 'bright times', 'dark times', 'blue times' and/or 'dull times'? What would those times be without colours? Colours can convey and cause emotions - how much faster would time fly by if the beautifully vivid sunset captivating your eyes was colourless? What about the oceans sparkle, or the bright blue sky surrounding you? In short: How much faster would time fly if we werent able to see colour? Sorry; thats a sub-question. ^^| Anyway, the world would be too bright without time, dont you think? ^^ Still, in answer to my previous question, they fly as fast as eachother, in harmony, perfect synchronisation, and in coexistance. Sorry that was so long! ^^|
