An anime or a game inspired by the anime?

Some games have different stories (more like side stories) than the anime itself like:

-Eureka Seven: New Wave & New Vision.
-.//hack (game series)

I prefer anime because they came first than the game.
But if they make the game into an anime, that will be better.

an anime or a game inspired anime...
well...
it depends...

sometimes the game is a much more rewarding experience than watching the anime
(ff vII and FFVII AC for example)

but yeah most anime based games are nothing more than cash cows...

Well some games use anime as a basis and then goes off in a different direction. Other times it's anime using games as a basis and then branching off. Same with manga.
However, some games are original creations done by mixing various animes together(But can be said to be inspired by the animes used). Example of this is SRW.
So it's just really hard to say. It depends on the quality along with its style and appeal to you so it's really hard to say what's better overall.

Depends on the series really.
Anime games aren't as good as the anime it came off of most of the time.

Yeah, I think it really depends on the series and what kind of game it is.

I think that usually for RPGs turned into anime, they typically aren't as good because they have to be compacted into a certain amount of episodes. Like the Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia OVAs. They were short and incomplete because of the fact they were short OVAs that only told a certain part of the game. So yeah, they weren't all that good.

As for fighting games, I'm not too sure. With anime like Naruto turned into a fighting game, I guess it just kind of depends on your expectations and preferences.

probably, i want to play the death note game and shakugan no shana
both for the DS consoles.
they're a bit of a tease when most games from Japan don't make it to the U.S.
bummer..... T______T

Is hard to decide. I think I will stick with the anime.
The games causes more time consumption, but thats sometimes a good thing if you are bored.
Anime will occupy your time if you don't feel like moving or using a controller.

If that's the case, I'll go for game, ususally game based animes ended up using galge, and the ending usually doesn't make sense...

While the games based on anime usually have a good quality in genre and story...and we can also choose the path to the ending..

Popular anime can be turned into games, but between 2000 and 2005, this has to be called the "Omake" era of anime because of a large number of date games that were turned into anime. Sister Princess, Popotan, Shuffle, Green Green, Comic Party, etc,.

Anime! But it really depends. Animes are more like for the people that are lazy or just plain bored, while the game is more time consuming & complex for a person.

it depends on how the game or anime is made or created and how people adopt to it
