I was thinken to myself "wow i wonder whos the smartest character?". i want to know who you think. i kinda lean towards kurama myself...

I love Kurama from YYH, but Shikamaru is younger AND smarter, way smarter. You should add people like Kira or even Lelouch.

L & Raito are damn smart :P. And most the charactersin "Ghost In The Shell" are smart. I have to listen to everything they say 10 times to understand the plot. omnomnomnomnom |

Due to human capacity, L and Light are the smartest when it comes to logic :D Strategy-wise, Shikamaru. blast, I shouldn't have read the posts first. I'm easily influenced tebayo~ DX  |

For me I think Yagami Light is the badass of smart anime characters, he doesn't have a super power (death note aside XD), and he made all those outrageous things (you gotta admit it, it might not be a good thing what he did but he did it and big time!, not everyone is able to reach that level) only with his intelligence. Yagami Light, respect!   |

L is pretty much the God of Smarts when it comes to brainpower. But Kurama of YYH is his strongest contender. Seiichiro Sano of Ueki no Housoku comes a close third, acccording to me.  --> |

Ah yes... I had forgot about Death Note. Light and L are both hell of smert for humans =P I guess they have the price of smartness XD |

I immediately think of Kindaichi, from Kindaichi case files. His logical reasoning is amazing (to me, anyway). And then, I think of Yagami Raito and L, of course. And then the well dries up...

Light and L really are smart Hiruma Yuichi of Eyeshield is also smart-he's cool- does somebody notice this? Eigetsu of Saiunkoku Monogatari-passign the national exam at age 12 or 13?  |
