Longest Anime Marathon

What's your record on watching anime? I watched Bleach from episode 1 to the last episode of the save Rukia arc which is around 60-70 episodes (I think)... that's more or less 20 hrs straight... My friend CLAIMED to have watched both GS and GSD straight... that's 100 episodes and more than 24 hrs (I think)... Note: If you're going to post, it must atleast be 50 episodes STRAIGHT... Anything less than that is laughable... I'd probably will make fun of you... |

lol, animes that has over 50 episodes are usually not worth watching for too long. So no. Don't have that much time anyway :P if there are animes that made me watch them from ep.1 - final episode straight, they were excel saga, Haruhi, minamike, black blood brothers, mai otome, myself; yourself, sayonara zetsubou sensei, and elfen lied. Unfortunately, none has 50 episodes. |

well.... maybe half of it, since i don't have enough time to do a marathon... aria finish in one run, GS by two run.... eureka by tow run, well given the time i have in hand, that is a surprise able to my friends that now i finish 13 ep in one night 13*20=260 minutes = 4,3 hours max at 30*20= 600 = 10 hours, well that already a given ^^

I watched all of Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi then I watch Tenchi Muyo! Ryo - Ohki, Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo, Tenchi Muyo! GXP, and finally finished up watching all of Chobits. So I think it ended up being like 61+ hours. After I had my back and neck surgery it made it hard to sleep, so I had to wear myself out by staying awake for a long time.  |

I know this is less than 50 episodes but I watched all 26 episodes of Air Gear in 13 hours or so because I had to go eat and stuff.  |

Naruto 1-120 it took me 2 1/2 Days to finish I don't worry about my food i have maid and other thing I just stand up when i'm going 2 the cr after that I smell something I stink so I got slept in my bathroom
Injuring the enemy is the start of killing them slowly and brutaly pls torture them first to gather info. Do it regularly it helps.

Watching back to back to back: 5 Days during the last summer. I was trying to get my mind off things, and yea I had food. I just rewatched and watched animes that I have now. Watching day after day after day: A whole entire summer... 3 months total at least 3 hours a day. Last summer as well. =)  |

I can't really remember but I watched 100+ episodes of Naruto in 3-4 days. I skipped the OP/ED and watched everything. Gundam seed as well, one and a half day... Wish i could still do that. I used to be a student with lots of free time but now I'm too busy with school >_> |

for all at once, i watched the full 52 (or so) episodes of getbackers without stopping o.o that took a long time... and i slept for double that afterwards! xD *zaziu needs her sleep~*  |

I watched every episode of Rurouni Kenshin and the three movies all in a row one time. It was during my "[NOLIFE]" summer, so I did a ton of crazy stuff.

@da that's a LOT of kenshin man!hahaha i usually finish every 26 ep anime in one sitting... the longest one i've marathon was naruto... from beginning till the ep where the 3 sanin fought..in 2-3 days...with sleep as the only break... and like the rest of you guys that was during a lazy summer vacation... this summer i even failed to marathon clannad..took me only up to ep 20 before my eyes finally gave in to sleep... i miss those LAZY days...hahaha |

If i understand the question completely - i watched first six seasons for Ranma 1/2 in one or two weeks. And if it's just the longest anime i saw, probably dbz :) |

Marathons are easy once you get used to them. I do a month long marathon every Summer and Winter break where I watched 25 Anime series in 28 days (ranging from 13 to 27 episodes long). Longest single sit down was 4 years ago when I marathoned Hajime no Ippo + the two movies. |

You guys got me beat. I watched almost 20 episodes in one sitting of Rose of Versailes like two years ago. Each episode ended in a cliffhanger and I couldnt stop from watching. The nearst and closest that i've come close since was when I marathoned 13 episodes of Bokura ga Ita in one sitting. |

me and my best bud got real bored so we wached all the anime i have in one go took us like a weak gto gits gits2ndgig fmp fmp fumofu fmptsr hack//sign trigun desert punk berserk cowboy bebop samurai champloo ergo proxy elfin lied hellsing kenshin death note gits movies voices of a distant star place promised in our early days and some mor but i cant remember went through a lot of chips and coffie lol |

u guys are lame... if a whole series takes you a whole day to finish then don't post it here... i'm talking about 1 sitdown... atleast the longest time you leave the screen is 5 mins, to poop or have yourself a meal or whatever then go bury your face back on the screen afterwards.... if you took a lessay a 2hr nap well, that's not marathon enough... here's the math: an hour of watching is approximately 3 episodes... so if you watch a 50 eps series that's 18 hrs straight... if you took longer to finish that series, well, tough luck that's wussy, it ain't marathon enough... NOw, Jamky, on the other hand, watched 160 episodes which translates to 50-60 hrs straight... now that's hardcore... she really must've liked tenchi muyo... a hardcore animewatcher on crappy anime series... hardcore anyways... the rest of you all are bunch of bolognas... although salamander did watch hell-a-lot of animes for a week but we're talking about one sitdowns and you probably weren't up the whole week... so, nah you still are lame... Now, recently I watched the whole Naruto Dattebayo series in 3 go's... 1-89 in about 35 hrs, 90-the finale of naruto vs sasuke clash 124,126 maybe in about 10hrs, and 124,126- 220 in around 35hrs... not too hardcore but better than most of you guys (and girls)... |
