Me and my bud are looking for a good multiplayer psp game. We're not big fans of shooting games and were thinking more along the lines of an rpg. I know Crystal Chronicles is out for ds and me and my bud both have ds's but he said that he played the gamecube version and it sucked so he refused to get it. so if you guys know of any good games id appreciate it. (On a side note, i beat crisis core and that game was amazing!!!!!!)

Lets see..If your looking for a team up like game(RPG) I would recommend Monster Hunter Freedom 2.Kinda hard to do a solo play but if you team up its very fun..You get to scream at each other for instructions and the like..Hehe.. If your looking for competitive games you should try Tekken 5:Dark Resurrection or Need for speed games.Its quite fun to fight your friends most of the time...Hehe..Especially tekken!  |

Multiplayer game in PSP?? Monster Hunter Series.. so fun to kill monster with Ur Friend.. and it's easier that wayy ^^

For a multiplayer experience on the PSP, Monster Hunter is a MUST-HAVE! Also, most FPS games on the PSP have clunky control schemes (largely due to the lack of a second/right analod stick) I feel that Medal of Honor Heroes 2 has a tighter control scheme, and with the option of Infrastructure mode that most PSP do not take advantage of, it would be a great game for FPS enthusiasts looking for a portable fix for their trigger finger. As for others, I hear FF Tactics has multiplayer vs mode, but how it would play based on level gaps, I don't know... I've never tried it.  mmmmmmmmmmmm....... |

I would say that Monster Hunter 2G is definitely the best, especially if you have the card that lets you connect to ppl worldwide. But if you don't just get a few friends cuz it's hella fun. Ig you're not satisfied with ad hoc mode games, I suppose you can try star wars renegade squadron. Though it isn't the best game I ever played, but it has infrastructure mode. I think it's pretty decent. Haven't played it for some time though. Was in top 500 some time ago, probably in the ten thousands now lolz haven't played for too long.

My roommate and I have logged many hours (40+) on Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, there is also Valkyria Chronicles 2 (no need to play VC 1) which supports multi-player.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (Portable 3 is out!) Valkyria Chronicles 2 Phantasy Star Portable Dissidia God Eater Burst Tekken 6 Tales of VS The first three games displayed are for people who have the time and devotion to play long hours farming for items or grinding levels. Think of it this way: This is how much time I've spent on these games: MHFU - 300+ Hours VC2 - 100 Hours PSP2 - 200+ Hours Dis - 200+ Hours GEB - 200 Hours Tek - 50 Hours ToVS - 75+ Hours (All Chars) But if you're on the go type of person, I'll recommend the last 2 games. Their rounds are pretty short so you can just turn on the psp for a few minutes and then you can turn it off again, just think of it as breaks. On a side note, Crystal Chronicles was good.

I second Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Phantasy Star Portable. Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is also a fun multiplayer game. It has shooting in it, but for the most part it is the typical MGS stealth/action gameplay.    |

for short multiplayer time, i say tekken, soul calibur, or dissidia for long multiplayer time, i say monster hunter, MGS Peacewalker, or Phantasy star portable  |

I don't know if anyone suggested this, but it's a fighting game by Square-Enix with Final Fantasy characters in it. Though it's not an RPG that you can go on quests it's kind of fun. The game is Dissidia (I think I spelled it right.) I heard the second one is great to. It's for the PSP. Also I do believe. I also enjoy Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker it can be multi-player with a function called Co-Ops. It's an action espionage game, not an RPG but still fun. For the PSP as well. I am not too sure of any others out there since I don't really have money to look for games... Sorry I can't be of much help. |

You can probably try God Eater Burst and Phantasy Star Portable 2,,, Those two are my favorite... |
