WAV to Mp3 Programs?

| Does anyone know of any reliable (and possibly free) programs that convert recordings, such as wav files, to mp3? |

Most of the coversion programs i use are made by Xilisoft. There site has downloadable trials you can use though there are limitations on them (ie: 2 songs at a time, or 5 mins if converting movie files), you have to purchase the products for full use. Site: Xilisoft homepage  |

Why not try dl from download.com, heard that you can download anything for free. Haven't tried yet though^-^ Site:www.download.com

i use a free progam called Protected Music Converter. just google it and its in the first few sites if i remember  |

| I use Switch to convert .wav to .mp3 vice versa. It works well and the size of Switch is rather small, only around 800 kB. |

I Believe he was referring to the size of the software shin XD not the size of the mp3 files Anyway, I Always use OJsoft Total audio converter.. either that or just use MediaMonkey to do the trick  |

ahh... i use FreeMp3WmaOggConverter.. they sound convenient for me,since Ipod is not able to detect .Ogg files~ and i am able to set which quality i want and save the songs =D |

Oh... Dang I misread that... Soorry... XD You may also use dBpowerAMP. lol I wish my player can read .ogg files, so I wont have a problem with the quality and quantity  |
