Well, since it's about characters from RPs i thought it'd be best placed in here. I often thought that it'd be good if there was a list of characters, used in RPs or something like this. So, i wanted to create one. Please submit your characters. Yes, you only have one post, so add everything in there. :) Here's my list(I'll try to upgrade it later - add links): Name: Dragon Nightmare(Ryuu Akumu) Gender: Male Usual race: Ancient Dragon or a Human Usual age: In case of human - about 30 years old. In case of dragon - about 2200 years old. Usual role: A professional of whatever he's doing. Something like a mentor. He can be either a unbeatable warrior-mage, or a mech pilot. As a warrior - he owns two swords: Fate and Destiny. As a pilot - he owns a mech, called Silver Striker, that's something like a modified version of Cybuster. Easy-going and simple-minded. Usually green-haired. Sucks at cooking, except for cooking of meat. Sorta like a strong character in some JRPGS(Like Auron from FFX, Dias from SO2, or Zero from Megaman X). At the latest RPs he's no longer using two swords, having three weapon styles: Halberd "Fate" (reforged from old sword), which he uses as a power-based anti-army weapon. Katana "Destiny" (also reforged), which he uses in a Iai(quick-draw) style. This one is speed-based style. Giant violin-shaped shield "Requiem" with a stake-like blade instead of the thin part. Requiem has countless usages, but most notable one is "Blast shield" - ability to do an explosive damage to anything that touches shield's outer side. (I'm currently thinking about fourth weapon - claws, equipped in a way, similar to IS from Infinite Stratos) Name: Juutai Juuni Gender: Female Usual race: Human Usual age: 34(or 17, if she's a normal human) Usual role: A student of Dragon, who specializes in offensive magic, mostly fire. Usually blue-haired. Unlike Dragon - she's a supreeme cook. She mostly acts kind, but she won't forgive anyone she hates. Name: Kita Kaze Gender: Male Usual race: Human Usual age: 19(same as myself) Usual role: A young student of Dragon(but he rarely appears as one). He's either armed with a spear, or with something ranged, or his only weapon is an Ultimate Shield. Appearance varies. Always easy-going and simple-minded as Dragon is and has no sense of direction. As i mentioned Dragon being the strong character - Kaze'd be like a main character of such games(Claude from SO2, Tidus from FFX, Megaman from Megaman X). In fact, this character resembles me the most, as i'm also simple-minded and also i have no sense of direction. In Ouran RP, i'm even acting as if i'd act in real life, not as he's supposed to be. Name: Minami Hono Gender: Female Usual race: Human/Cat-girl Usual age: 20 Usual role: Often appears with Kaze, she's his childhood friend. In most cases - she's a martial artist. Appearance varies. Name: Fuyu Shiro: Gender: Male Usual race: Human Usual age: 19 Usual role: Almost same as Kaze, but he's sorta more flawless: He actually thinks about what he's doing and he has sense of direction. Usually armed with a katana or a nodachi. Wears a competely white traditional samurai clothing. His white hair's formed in a medium-length ponytail. To imagine him - think of Assassin from FSN and dye him white :) Name: Tsurara Akumu Gender: Female Usual race: White Dragon or half-dragon/half-werefox Usual age: 17 Usual role: Dragon's "daughter", similar to him in a character. Born as a personality, developed through fusion of Dragon and Ciruella, later given body by him. Wears mostly white clothes, usually miko outfit. Uses priest seals. Can use seals for summoning, for magic missiles, for enchancing daggers. Activate them by piercing them with those daggers. Creates both from magical energy. Her usual weapons are two-handed swords. Name: Kishi Mamoru Gender: Male Usual race: Human Usual age: 22 Usual role: A blond-haired knight, "good" personality of Ryuu. Ideals are sorta similar to Emiya Shiro - wants to be a hero of justice. Uses sword and shield mostly, as a knight, but can also use heavy firearms and sniper rifle. Name: Kishi Senritsu Gender: Female Usual race: Human Usual age: 15-17 Usual role: Usually acts as Kishi Mamoru's younger sister, following him everywhere. An easy-going tomboy. Always uses ranged weapons, either bows or firearms, mostly machineguns or sniper rifles. Name: Chiiro Tsume Gender: Male Usual race: Demon Usual age: 30 Usual role: A black-haired martial artist, "evil" personality of Ryuu. He's somewhat similar to Kishima Kouma of Melty Blood - a quiet man, who is tired of most human relationships. Uses bare fists. Name: Helion Blackspirit Gender: Female Usual race: Spirit/Human Usual age: around 19-20 Usual role: Appears as Ryuu's subordinate. Usually appears along with Halion. Specializes in counters, fast attacks and curses. Name: Halion Greenspirit Gender: Female Usual race: Spirit/Human Usual age: Around one year older than Helion Usual role: Same as Helion, but her specialization is healing and protection. Name: Ciruella Akumu Gender: Female Usual race: Human Usual age: around 26 Usual role: She appears either as Tsurara's older sister, or as Ryuu's wife and Tsurara's mother. She specializes in light polearms, with her main weapon being a naginata, that can turn into something like a flail, with blade, attached to the shaft with a long chain. Name: Hebi Akumu(Cobra Nightmare) Gender: Female Usual race: Gold Dragon Usual age: She is a bit older than Ryuu, though the age difference is only of few years. Usual role: Ryuu's older sister and the only living relative that is actually OLDER than Ryuu. Also, she and Ryuu are the only ones who have their names in english too. The two already forgot which name was original - japanese or english one, but the names are generally translations of each other (Though Hebi's name would be translated as Snake, not Cobra), so there is no difference. Name: Ryuko Akumu Gender: Female Usual race: Ancient Dragon Usual age: Around 27 Usual role: An alternative, female version of Ryuu, Ryuko has his personality, but acts as if she was born female. The only Ryuu's weapon that she can use is the single katana, that she uses in a iai-style. The second difference is her way of speech, which isn't rude brutal that Ryuu has, but a refined old style of a japanese princess. Name: Koumori Kiio Gender: Female Usual race: High Succubus Usual age: Unknown, appears around 25 years old. Usual role: A succubus, serving Ryuu, she uses dream, darkness and spirit magic, as well as a scythe-type weapon. Name: Haiiro Kasumi Gender: Female Usual race: High Vampire Usual age: Around 19 years Usual role: An emotionless vampire girl, using a huge lance. She is also one of Ryuu's allies and was given Ryuu's blood as a cure to vampirism (as his dragon's blood overpowers vampire's blood, removing all negative effects of it, like weaknesses to sun and garlic or a need to drink blood). She became emotionless to be able to keep some self-restrain and couldn't regain emotions after getting cured. Name: Haiiro Kiri Gender: Female Usual race: Human Usual age: Around 18 years Usual role: Kasumi's younger sister and a miko, who was hunting her older sister in order to kill her while she is still sane. After finding out that her sister won't lose sanity anymore, joined her and Ryuu's side. She doesn't use a melee weapon, specializing in charms and summons instead. PS: Ah, crap, i want to respond a lot, but i'm the one who wanted it to be one post per person :D Well, so far - don't write ALL your characters, only usual and recurring... like, those who appear or can appear in various RPs. @hearms: Did you forget about this thread or something? :D |

Snake Valentine(sometimes with different surnames,though it would mostly sound the same) Age:Varies Appearances:Appears in many war-based RP and sometimes RP that involves using guns(and killing zombies). Role:An extremely optimistic man who usually cheats deaths,one time after another,even after getting shot by a battleship.His close friends often mentioned that as long he lives,the heart of the army will never be broken and will always be that way.In certain RPs involving Japan,he commands a powerful Supreme Shogun-class battleship named Yamato Shogun.He proves to be really devastating even without a ship,as he could ram into hard materials without getting hurt(although scratches still presents),occasionally even a car(but not a tank,though;he's not physically strong enough to ram one). About the Yamato Shogun: Equipped with 12(3x4) 500mm Shirada cannons(6 in front,another 6 on aft side),deck full of 25mm AA guns,pairs of 30mm gattling guns mounted on each of the gun turrets,pairs of Tenzai missile launchers on the turret's sides,Type-S "Shotgun" torpedo launchers(equipped on broadsides for maximum firepower up close,especially against submarines) and many more,she's more than capable of taking on a really huge fleets,even if she were seem to outnumber herself.And if it wasn't enough,if her enemies used the air assault tactic(like the one in the WW2,but mostly involves using tons of aircrafts),she could easily swatted them down like flies with the 500mm cannon's secondary mode,Sanshiki Slugs,which spreads out rather quickly upon firing,although it requires extra work on marksmanship.Like her previous Shogun Battleships,she could use the devastating Ramming Speed ability to crush her enemies should they foolishly get close in front of her.It proves to be extremely devastating against bunched group of ships,especially Aircraft Carriers,since it lasts longer than most Shogun ships,and a significant increase of cruising speed thanks to her powerful engines.Together with Musashi and Shinano,they are the Imperial's most powerful Shogun Sister Battleship/Cruiser/Carrier ever faced by their enemies. Role:He can be said to be the polar opposite of Snake's;he's quite pessimistic in many ways,although when with Snake,he somehow overturns it.He's a very calm man,making him a excellent candidate for a sniper.As with Snake,in any RP involving Japan,he commands the second Supreme Shogun-class Battleship,the Musashi Shogun.He's capable of crushing hard materials just like Snake do,although not as devastating.Done together,they could turn a tank over(flipping),rendering it useless. About the Musashi Shogun: Equipped with 8(2x4) 600mm Shirada cannons(2 in front,another 2 on aft side;most powerful "sniping" cannons made by Shirada Shipwork up to date),4 Wave Force AA Tricannons(made specially for Musashi Shogun,these WFT has been modified to fire against enemy aircrafts,though it can be used against land and sea dwellers as well) on the turret,deck full of 25mm AA guns and many more(minus the Type-S "Shotgun" torpedo launchers),she can take out faraway enemies(more so than her sister Yamato) with ease,making her one of the extremely devastating "sniping" battlecruiser ever made.As she doesn't have the ability to take on submarines,she often relies on the Yamato to do the job.Her powerful engines and lighter(but still durable) armor increase her cruising speed to the point of being able to go ahead of Yamato,but will slow down a bit when using Ramming Speed as she crush multiple enemy ships at once,unlike Yamato who could crush them through without slowing down a bit.Together with Yamato and Shinano,they are the Imperial's most powerful Shogun Sister Battleship/Cruiser/Carrier ever faced by their enemies. Naomi Shirada Role:One of Snake's best friend in the Imperial Shogunate along with Kruser.Snake's diehard-fan-of-the-WW2-Japan's-most-powerful-Yamato-class-battleships spirit somehow inspires Naomi to "revive" the Sister Battleships by creating Supreme Shogun-class batleships,Yamato Shogun being the first one.Whenever Snake talks about sea battles,her name was often mentioned without failing.Her appearances was canonical in many RPs,but will appear with him and Kruser if given a chance to jump in.Although she's really nice to Snake,other people,both her fleet and enemies,fears her notoriously ruthless and uncontrollably violent nature,and even more so in battle.Kruser often comments that once she sets her eyes on something,she will never let up and won't hesitate to do anything to get them.She commands the Shinano Shogun,a first-of-the-kind battlecarrier,combining both the battleships and aircraft carriers. About the Shinano Shogun: The third and final Supreme Shogun-class Battleship(also the first-of-the-kind-battlecarrier),she's the most powerful of all the three,but comes with a cost of being slower than many other ships Naomi made so far.Equipped with 24 Shirada cannons(12 500mm cannons and 600mm cannons,respectively equipped on both front and aft side) and numerous other weaponry on board,she's much bigger than both Yamato and Musashi Shogun combined(being twice their size).On both sides mounts the specially made Shirada Docks and Mecha Bays capable of launching many kind of units from it,ranging from Tsunami tanks to Sea Wings and Naginata Cruisers to the Shogun Battleships(occasionally the Mecha Tengus and VX units as well).It was also used for Yamato and Musashi's maintenance and repair works,making her a extremely mobile sea base.Her gigantic size prevents her from using the Ramming Speed ability,but when she does,she's the most devastating of all,even capable of creating a powerful crushing tsunami,as both Snake and Kruser commented.Together with Yamato and Musashi,they are the Imperial's most powerful Shogun Sister Battleship/Cruiser/Carrier ever faced by their enemies. |
