Stumped with Icon problem
|
Sorry... I had an annoying time trying to find a solution so I am seeking another opinion Today my MS Word icon suddenly isn't displaying... I've tried reinstalling Office and Scanning in Safe mode But I have made some assumptions... - The MS Word icon does not display in "Thumbnails" or "Tiles" view but displays fine in the other view types - The icon appears fine in safe mode... This gives me an idea that the problem may lie at start up - Seeing that reinstalling Office and System Restore didn't work... I think the registry may have been affected... - Of course the possibility that this is caused by a malicious program isn't out of the question... link Any thoughts? ![]() Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Delete the system 32 registry >=D But seriosuly, don't, I nailed a stack of computers at A local store doing that Muhahahaha (I guess we anarchists never grow up!) But it does sound like registry. ![]() |
