Starting completely random anime song collection

I want to hear more J-music. I like it, and it helps with my studies. Until now, I'd been downloading songs from animes that I'd watched. But that limits me too much, because we don't get many animes out here in India anyway! So,plz list your fave anime songs and tell me why u like them, so I could DL them too (For the mods: I am not sharing or requesting!). But: Plz restrict yourselves to 2-3 songs at a time. Anime eh? I think there's a similar thread to this ne? Anyhoo-- I enjoy anything YUI/L'arc/HYDE (I'm completely biased hohoho XD) such as~ Daybreak's Bell [L'arc] --Gundam 00 Rolling Star [YUI] --Bleach The Fourth Avenue Cafe (oh so long ago + it's an RK song XD) [L'arc] ;)    m y . Hmmmm..... Anything by I've Sound...like Kotoko, Mami Kawada, Kaori, Mell...etc. - From animes like Kannazuki no Miko, Shakugan no Shana, Hayate Combat Butler. - if you like upeat 'trance like' tempo music you'll like these artists. Lia - one of my fave singer/songwriters..from AIR, School Rumble, Gunslinger Girl 2 - Soothing easy listening Gundam Series music like :TM Revolution, Nami Tamaki, Rie Tanaka, Brilliant Green, L'arc n ciel, TWO-MIX....etc. - Almost all music from any Gundam series has great songs so try them to see which ones you will like.  |

Actually, I'm more of a rock and metal fan, so I don't often listen to pop or trance. If anyone has any good rock song suggestion then I'd be very thankful. --> |

Every anime song from Hirano Aya or Laruku are great! Some of my other/recent current favorite ones are:
Also, if you have a chance, try to check out Gackt's "Ai Senshi" cover from the old Gundam 0079 series or so.

Any song by Gackt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, also Malice Mizer (Malice Mizer doesn't have any anime songs, though). L'Arc~en~Ciel (On this website L'Arc-en-Ciel) is good, even though other people have already said it. Moi Dix Mois (Although no anime songs, either...) Asterisk by Orange Range (Bleach) UVERworld BUCK-TICK (or Buck tick)

Some of the songs by KOTOKO are rock oriented....she has many styles. But if you are more into pure rock / metal....welll like Rin8-san mentioned....GACKT, L'Arc en Ciel, Malice Mizer...etc. JAM Project is pretty good as well....if you ever seen Macross 7....the voice of Neki Basara is one of the vocals. It is straight up Rock & roll....they have good stuff. There are some of their songs here on Gendou so try them to see if you like it or not. |
