When did you start to watch anime and what series did you watch then? I started to watch anime during the mid 80's as an infant. Was a show, called Club Dorothee, that almost only aired anime for 4 hours every morning, but got canceled during the 90's unfortunatly.. Series they aired where Captain Tsubasa, Maison Ikkoku, City Hunter, Dragonball, High School Kimengumi, UFO Robo Grendizer, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Meitantei Holmes, Saint Seiya and tons of others of which I don't remember the names... >.< But I loved them all and still do! ^_^ They got me into anime.

Old school shows are the best~ most of the shows now consists massive fan-service show.. Tiger 7, Gunbaruger, Borgman, Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Voltes V, V-Gundam, Gaiking, Daimos, Duncougar, Zambot 3&Titan 3, Firebird, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, SPT Layzner, dang it would probably take like 2 pages to list all the good shows |

I started watching anime in the mid 80's mainly consist of the first Mobile gundam anime, and the Dragon ball series. Also i watched Mazinger z, Robotech, And some others. |

Even though I was born in the 80's 1988 to be exact..lol) I have gone back and watched anime from before when I was born. My faves are Rumiko Takahashi's first anime's that were adapted from her mangas: Urusei Yatsura and, Maison Ikkoku! Gotta love anything she does as well as the original Voltron and, Transformers and Robotech.
Hiraikotsu! ja ne 4 now.

| Robotech rules also transformers. I havent seen that show in years, and i still wish to see it once again. |

Well, let's see... I got the Transformers (when I'm 5), then the Sailormoon Series(about 10) and many after I've enter junior high, I've become Anime + Manga huntress...

I was in the 1st/2nd grade when starting watching Sailor Moon. That was only 6 or seven years ago too...

My first anime that i can remember s Mega Man. Ah so good back then. I belive i was like 7 or 8 but i dun remember.

| I kinda grew up around anime. The first animes I watched were Sailormoon, Dragon Ball and DBZ, and GT, Rockman, Transformers, Voltron, Speed Racer. This was probably when I was 4. Then I went totally crazy when I was 8. And now, I'm crazy for anime!!!! |

"Doramon" was one of the first animes i was watching. also there was this manga seiries called "Ashita no Joe" it was a great boxing manga.

*smacks face* same here! i watched doraemon when i was 5.....then by the time i was 8, animes started attacking me. there's godmars, the old wataru series, ribbon knight (or princess knight), captain tsubasa, genki bakuhatsu ganbaruga, setaimudeki raijinoh, yusha dagan, zenki, etc, come to think of it, i'm pretty old school. |

The first anime I've ever watched was Doraemon, back there, I'm still an infant like SheeP... lol Then Voltron comes. SailorMoon, Captain Tsubasa, Transformers, and I watch GettaRobo G's VHS when I'm in kindergarten.

same-same the first anime i watch is doraemon, but i'm getting serius (not only watching doraemon every sunday, i mean)in when in grade 6. (12 years old)

I guess the first anime i watched was Doraemon. But I didn't really went into anime then. I think it was Akazukin Cha Cha that got me more interested in anime. But i really got 'obsessed' after watching Magic Knight Rayearth when I was in Elementary school.

i was about 4/5 and i started watching Sailor Moon and then it ended up with Bomberman the chinese series >.<

me started watch anime on 1985 while back in the elemtary school. they were UFO Robo Grendizer, getta robo, Tosho Daimos and forget the rest of it all the show that the tv show were mech so i've being infulence by mech a bit. swt all of the anime were made on the 70ties..
