Not frequently in real life, though. I always get dejavu in dreams. Eerie though.

Yes, I have had deja vu before.
It is quite convincing that the events experienced have happened before.
However, simple logical tests reveal this to be an illusion.
Dreams are illusory by nature, so it's no wonder they are a prime source of deja vu experience.
I think it is an important exercise to acknowledge deja vu for what it is: a delusion.
Spotting one's own delusions is a powerful tool of the mind.

I used to have deja vu quite often. I often feel like I have been in the exact same situation twice, or even thrice.
I don't have them so much anymore now, though.

I've had lots of deja vu when I was in high school
Those were the times when I feel that I was closer to God or Godliness
I thought that maybe in my 20's I'll acquire an ESP ability, the precognition
Ah, the memories... it's sweet even though it failed me

Anyways, it became a rare experience lately
But the previous two or three, if I recall them correctly, were strange
It felt like I've experienced it before but somehow it also felt like the story was changed

I don't know how to explain this but I do know that I am not under any influence or illness which caused delusion, hallucinations, or whatsoever

It would seem like Deja Vu is something that tends to happen more when you are younger... cuz I have the same situation many other posts have stated: I used to get them all the time, but now... not as often. The ones that I have had lately are a lot more powerful though.

I like to think that it is possible that Deja Vu's are more than just illusions, but I havent been able to find any proof to back that up... so I think for now they are illusions. I think that when a Deja Vu happens, you understand the current situation exactly as it is... if there was a way to see farther into the situation maybe we could do more with it. Cuz Deja Vu seems to end when you change something from what you remember, and if two people are involved... that usually happens faster.

Yeah, I had those eerie moments once in a while.

Isn't it wonderful? In my view, it would seemed that God still gave us the power of prophecy. Preposterous as it may seem, that is very evident in the past [i.e. in the bible] and may still occur today.

Dejavu's a mystery.
I still experiencing it until now, not just in one certain place, but everywhere especially at school.
Whenever I experience it, i always feel that "that" situation had happened many times but I forgot when or it's like a scene picked up from the dream.

What a mysterious phenomenon

I had this really, really weird case of Deja vu and it happened some time ago. I remember dreaming about walking with someone. They were walking backwards, I was walking forwards, and we were talking about some strange topic I don't really open up to people about. And it actually happened. I was walking along the sidewalk, one of my friends was walking backwards and we were talking about some of my family's problems. And it happened just the way I had dreamed it. It freaked me out easily.

crap. deja vu is so weird. sometimes I feel like I've said the exact same thing a few days before in the exact same situation, and I get this tingling sense of "wtf?" that just buzzes in my head, and then I go, "whoa. deja vu"

it's quite interesting, isn't it? this deja vu. perhaps I did say the exact same thing in the exact same situation. whatever the case, people tend to point out deja vu because it is a rather peculiar experience.

or, like gendou said, it's only a delusion.

I used to have "deja-vu" when I was Younger....around 10-13. Then i haven't any. Now I have have it again and it's really strange. Some people say it's cause you Brain is "tired" when it isn't a dream Deja vu but i think this is false.....
