When the Virus struck at his circus troupe, he had no choice but to kill the only family he had. He armed himself with a knife and used his well know acrobatic skills to duck and dive out of danger. Being the only circus member not infected in a troupe of 34, he survived by his sheer wits and reflexes. The DNI went to "rescue" the troupe and found Kite standing alone and covered with blood. He was put into training and quickly rose in rank for his multiple missions. His codename came from his cold hard stare at danger, and is one of the only DNI members that dislikes the use of guns.
