I think there was a thread similar to this...i'm not sure though. Anyways... Personally i like Rena & Precis from Star Ocean:the 2nd story. While for Star Ocean:tteot it's Nel & Maria. I didn't really like Fayt as a main character as much as i did Claude. I swear Fayt said 'but' so many times in the game it was getting a bit annoying. If it wasn't for Cliff & Abel's coolness.....i'd go crazy!!!! In SO:TSS i use Claude...his Ripper Blast saved me numerous times. I do like Fayt's attacks though. I mainly use Nel cause her Flying Gullotine skill absolutely owns!!!! Maria's Gravity Bullet also owns!!!  |

| i only played Star Ocean on playstation... and based on my expirience the one who got two dragon sword is the best (forgot what his name is)... i think he says this line when using his ulti technique "oh, you mighty slalyer!.. e.(forgot) all the enemies... huh! HaH!" <- hehehe! |

I would have to say Cliff cus he's like a mad combo machine. (too bad I don't really remember the rest of the star ocean games)

I like fayt(main character)..His dimension slash is so powerful.. I also like Cliff..he so cool and is a combat machine.. and lastly i go for Nel because she has more unique technique than others character..
COOL...

As main character I like Fayt more than Claude... Claude is your usual typical main character so sometimes the game gets kinda boring ^^;; Celine is gorgeous and Rena is cute... but Nel has this tomboyish sense and Maria is just hot... Albel? He pawns Dias in personality and maybe sword skills ^^ overall, my fave male character is Albel and fave female is Maria... or Nel... or maybe Rena... it's hard to decide... ^^;;

Yeah, come to think of it Ratix can be considered quite an ordinary main character... Fear has great fighting style, but i'd like her hair to be a bit longer :) Iria's kinda nice too, but same problem. Joshua's the character that i would want to have in both second and third games - good mage AND good healer. Anyway, i like characters from first star ocean much more than from second and especially third... or actually i hate third one(till the end of time). If it's the second one, only Dias, Leon and Ashton are worthy, but too bad you have to choose between the first two... I have a friend, who's a fan of Ronixis, that is Claude's father. Well, truly, in first Star Ocean he was quite a nice character and the best mage in the game(similar to Leon), but as for the second one - he only appeared a bit. And he became fan from the second game... dunno how :) |

I haven't played till the end of time yet. so for me Precis and Chisato. alley hoop and whirlwind. is pretty much enough to keep the enemy from moving. I'd usually control Chisato and let Precis go with mole and alley hoop. and let cloud run around with ripper slash + dragon howl and shooting star burst knuckle and then Rena. though Ashton is perfect for 1 on 1 battles in the arena. |
