who's the leader of akatsuki?

| i've kinda curious of who's the leader of the akatsuki. does he had something to do with the lost sandaime of the sand or the yondaime of the leaf village konoha? |

well im reading naruto manga and some people ask "who's the leader of akatsuki" and i got the results the leader of akatsuki is uchiha madara.. he's look a like yondaime.  |

well at an operational level, its pein, he's the person who appears in the holograms and tells everyone what to do but it appears that he is taking his orders from Madara/Tobi, which would sorta make him the akatsuki's true leader, being as he is the leader of the leader |

I'm sure it's that Uchiha Madara. Go here, and compare it with xynuki's picture: http://www.answers.com/topic/akaleadermouth-jpg I was a person back then. I could smile and laugh and... feel. All the colors... all the hurt... all the laughing... it all went away. All of them. They used words like brain damage... and cerebral trauma. But even then I understood. leader of akatsuki is uchiha madara ?? i think no....for me,the leader of akatsuki is Tobi ( maybe Obito/kakashi chilhood ).i never seen uchiha madara picture....maybe uchiha madara is leader of uchiha's clan.  |

Spoiler after this line!!!! i really thought it was Tobi the leader of akatsuki XDDD bacause that pic that you guys showed of pain, apear Tobi and Pain said "You, the real leader of akatsuki..." andi agree with Izzul... Madara is gone isn't he?   |

Spoilers!! You've been warned. Technically Pain/Pein is, but he and Konan are seen reporting to Tobi, who is later revealed to be Madara and from how I enturpert the latest chapter summary from leafninja.com, the mizukage. So it would appear as if Tobi/Madara is running the whole thing. Correct me if I'm wrong.  |

I thought it was Pain/Pein that created Akatsuki and Madara is trying to use them to his own advantage.   |

Lets Wait ...
Injuring the enemy is the start of killing them slowly and brutaly pls torture them first to gather info. Do it regularly it helps.
