Is it really that good? I wanted to check it out myself, but I can always get screwed if I find out the storyline's been killed. Well, I haven't seen it yet, but the graphics are freaking amazing. Ten for that~ That's some detailed work there. ------- |

I was actually pleasantly suprised on how well it was done. Though some of the names of the characters were inacurate that is a minor flaw. I have to say whatever Steven Speilberg touches turns to gold...every movie he is involved with is really good. Michael Bay does an awesome job on this one as well. His style of using as little CG as possible came through as the stunts & special effects were top of the class. Shia Laboef (Sam) was quite enjoyable in his approach...he had humor & emotion. The girl (i forget her name...i was distracted :P) was also enjoyable. Most of the actors weren't as cheesy as i feared....it was well acted with alot of humor & emotion as well. Awesome they kept Optimus's original voice....his voice is calm yet powerful at the same time. The change in designs were not as bad as i thought...all the Transformers felt real. I can go on & on about how good it was but those who already saw it know what i'm taliking about. Highly recommend the movie.....one of the best of the summer....i'll also give it a 10! *note* Anybody notice the scenes during the credits.....maybe a possible sequel? |
Re: Rate Transformers the movie

oh yes, there is already studio talk of a sequel. And the name of eye candy was Michaela... But really, she was just eye candy, in a movie full of CG eye candy. Michael Bay Talks Transformers Sequel Source: Entertainment Weekly July 5, 2007 Entertainment Weekly talked with Transformers director Michael Bay, who says he has ideas for another film. Here's a few clips: How are you sitting with the idea of directing another Transformers movie? Let's see how this one does. I've got a lot of ideas for the next one. There's a lot of really cool, big robot stuff that I had in my head that we didn't do. I just want to see how this works. You might not grow as much as a director [to do a sequel]. But it's kind of like you have your baby and you don't want someone else to take it. So, hypothetically, if you were to take on a Transformers sequel, would it be your next film? I don't know if it would be ready. It just takes so long to do a script. A couple things are on the horizon, but [maybe] I'll do my little movie that I can knock out, because we all think we're going to have a strike |
Re: Rate Transformers the movie

I think they suceeded in crunching the transformer's universe into a 2 hour and some minutes movie. It seemed a bit quick to settle up at the end. But still it's an autobots vs. decepticons slobber knocker in some place other than a random remote area where no one can get hurt. Soundtrack was nice and the graphics were amazing. All in all I'm going to call it a 9/10 but I was still completely satisfied. |

10/10 for me ^_^ The Transformers themselves looked really cool, albeit the faces which were pretty bad, but everything else was still pretty cool. Their transformations were awesome and quite detailed. I also liked the individual personalities of each of the Transformers. They were all very different from one another. The movie itself was very awesome. It was interesting and full of action throughout the 144 minute movie. Usually, movies that are long have a point where it's just getting a little boring, but certainly not this movie ^_^

Hmm. I'd give it an 8/10. The movie's great no doubt about it! It just went kinda fast. Some parts were sorta rushed or summarized. But it was fun. :D |
Re: Rate Transformers the movie

ill give it 9/10 coz the characters have few and the transform has they cannot see the true form but have a nice graphics :D |

At first I thought Michael Bay was all about explosions and excessive fires but well they reduced the explosions lol so I'll give it 8/10. They balanced comedy, romance, explosions, action and CGI well...kinda love the movie though there's still some unclear things at the end. (this one is a spoiler for those who haven't watched the movie) What happened to starscream? I thought it was battling with a few F-22 raptors? StarScream totally disappeared after Megatron is defeated...is there gonna be a Transformers 2 movie? (hmm)
And I thought I've already 'abide' by the rules of signature.

@ squallpayne-san Like i mentioned in my previous post...if you watch the credits it shows what becomes of Starscream. SPOILER *hilight to read* During the first few minutes of the credits..you know when the Linkin Park song is playing....Starscream is shown breaking the atmosphere & flying into space. So there is a possibility of a 2nd movie. Since Michael Bay says he has some ideas of the next movie he'll wait to see how well this one does. Judging by the box-office results it looks pretty good. |

Ah, the ending credits! My friends and I walked out as soon as the movie finishes, that explains the StarScream escapes ^^. Dinobots?

freaking awesome...evertime a transformer uh trasnformed i was like O_O wow...story is pretty solid and a bit more realistic than the cartoons altough most of the autobots and decepticons designed changed well at least optimus still resembles his 80 self...but i prefer the old school paint job ehhehe anyway all thats miing is stan bush' the touch hehehe they should have at least played it in the ending or in some radio in the movie...but hearing prime say "one shall stand and one shall fall" was just....im loss in words here...hahaha as a transformer fan this movie ROCKS 10/10 and dinobots in the sequel? cool! maybe a third movie will show up featuring unicron! |
