Hi honey!!! This wonderful musical is awesome. To me it is such a mystery of how this wonderful man wants to be with Christene soo much, he pours his heart out to her in song. Christene is one who is confused. she can't make good decisions on love. she betrayed the phantom for her old bf just because her old bf said he loved her. The phantom saidt hesa meth ing and christene fell forh imun til her old bf came into the pic and now she wants to act shady. She is nothing but a backstabbing betraying *****!!! She sings devine though. I love her voice, and she is pretty. (i am straight!!) ![]() |

the phantom of the opera, since he has a deformed face, for some people he is a monster, so he live in the dark.. alone. When he found Christine, an orphan in the opera house, with talent yet alone like him, he somehow felt sympathy towards her and eventually fell in love with her.. He trained her to be the opera's greatest singer.. ![]() |

Indeed he did train her but he also decieved her using her father's death and his final words to Christine that an "Angel of Music" would be there for her. Obviously the Phantom wasn't there to hear the words when the man died but he figured it out over time from his interaction with Christine. He did love her but he also toyed her emotions in a way that was quite cruel so I can understand her not falling headover heals for the Phantom. On the flip side Christine learned that the Phantom loved her and she did choose to toy with his emotions even if it wasn't fully intentional. Things were not made easier with Raoul's appearence. His relationship to Christine goes back years so affection is rekindled and thats not to be unexpected. But his incompitance is made evident when he states that "There is no Phantom of the Opera" after proof of his existance is made clear. Its a very complicated. ![]() |

The phantom never figured out what Cristine's father had said. She assumes that the Phantom is the "Angel of Music." But in a way he did train her, since the phantom never revealed who he was. Her love for the phantom is unconditional love, showing sympathy and compassion for the Phantom, never recoiling at his disfigurement. But with her childhood sweetheart, Raoul coming back. She falls for him. Christine is never truley in love with the phantom, its only sympathy love. Her heart is with Raoul. ![]() |
