haha, let me complete that title for you. It is yami to boushi to hon no tabibito. Hmm, weird? Perhaps, if you were referring to the origin of each character. oh, and the long name. Altough it really means yami, traveller, hat and book or smth like that.  |

The weirdest anime aren't really the ones who sucks... some of them are the ones that I really like... One best example: +Crayon Shin Chan (weirdest but funniest anime I have ever watched...)

you actually managed to follow it? yeah FLCL rocks but is also random in its own way, the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya is also random. its got a really linear storyline. Its just all the episodes are in a really messed up jumbled up order, deliberatly. Somehow it works.
Memories are good but thats all they are, memories... Nothing more, nothing less

| ummmm.... i don't think the word weird can be applied to any anime. by western standards, i have seen nothing BUT weird animes. anyway if you're asking which one seemed the most illogical and jumbled up, FLCL beats them all. I doubt that anime actually HAD a plot, everything seems to happen for no reason at all, and the main character has robots coming out of a randomly appearing bump on his head, which he got after a girl hit him with her guitar. how weird is that?! |

Lain is more then just randomness and tech-babble, heh. There's alot of stuff in that series that really made me think, and some symbolism and stuff. I wanna rewatch it but I lent it to a friend who is taking ages to watch it. But yeah, I guess you could say that it is pretty weird. FLCL's actual plot didn't make very much sense to me until near the very end. And i've only seen a little bit of Bobobo-bo bo-bobo, but yeah, it's pretty weird! |
