Problem with my laptop

well i unsinstalled this game, "tribes vengeance", on my laptop after i installed it there is a message box but i didnt check what it said because im sure its that message restart your computer...but when i pressed enter my desktop icons and taskbar disappeared and it doesnt seem restarting i press ctrl+alt+del and and i endtask some unimportant program like bittorrent, MSN, etc.. sooo I pressed the Power button and click restart..... it restarted then my task menu bar and icons didnt show i pressed ctrl+alt+del and i doubt that explorer.exe is not working and i checked the list of Process and I was right explorer.exe isnt there..i press ctrl alt del > File > New Task >explorer.exe ......the icons and task bar showed BUT it was flashing a couple of times and it wont show again..explorer.exe seems to be on and off and i need help i dont know what to do... and yes im using Windows XP //-------------------------------------> Nevermind i went to the geeksquad this morning and they said that the registry got deleted and it is needed to be reformat they said they will call back within 13days sigh** o well |
