Duet music

I probably should have asked around a LONG time ago... but I'm looking for good Japanese or English music that features two people, preferably a guy and a girl.

Before I moved away last year, one of my male friends wanted to do a duet with me on a song, because we both like singing j-rock and he liked my voice ^^ Now, just out of curiousity, are there any good songs out there that have a karaoke version and are fit for two peple to sing?

Yeah of course...hmm..songs with two people..you mean dueting in harmony or second voice right.

Can't remember but here are some:

-Japanese-
~Snow Kiss by NIRGILIS (all female, but you can improvise and sing with a guy)
~Chase the Wind from Grander Musashi (the girl could do the second voice or vice versa)
~Yume no Tsubasa (Duet version)

You could also find other j-music songs where you can make your own duet version.

And in English, of course there's a LOT. Hehe, you can find some yourself.

The Full Moon wo Sagashite song "Love Chronicle" is one of my favorite anime duet songs of all time that has both a female and male singer. Although the female has way more lines, it is fit for two singers and it has a very nice beat. I would also recommend Yume no Tsubasa (Duet Version). And like Shinta said you can find most J music song and modify it into a duet. I think "A little pain" by OLIVIA could be made into a really nice duet song.

O_o i can only think of HIGH and MIGH COLOR if you're talking about JRock and a duet. jus don't choose the songs that Yuusuke screams a lot.

D= BARTENDER~!! it's not JRock but it's a nice song. very goood..

D= another non-JRock: His And Her Circumstances - Yume No Naka E. it's cute ._.

Um... I dunno much but... try "Memories in the Rain" by the voice actors of Kurosaki Ichigo and Kuchiki Rukia... they've done it for the Bleach OVA "Memories of the Rain."

Correct me if I'm wrong people...XP

Wow, thanks for all the help!

Yume no Tsubasa is a really good song! However, my voice isn't quite as high as Yui Makino's. But it's still an awesome song!

I still have yet to finish listening to Love chrnoicle, but I haven't heard much of the male voice for awhile now o.o

I don't know if Snow Kiss would work out... I love that song, but it might be a bit too not-rock for Katsuro-san's taste. He likes the Pillows ^^

High and Mighty Color might be good! Ehehe... the guy does scream alot. Maki's voice is so pretty, too. but I dunno if my friend would like to scream...

Memories in the Rain has a good melody, but the male part dominates way too much :( I really like Orikasa Fumiko's part, but it's really tiny.

Ano... I have a few other suggestions. Anyone wanna listen to them? but I can't find the karaoke versions :(

-Arigato, from Prince of Tennis, by seiyuus of Ryoma and Tezuka
-The Garden of Everything, by Steve Conte and Maaya Sakamoto

How about "Fuyu no Hanabi" from Bleach? Or is Rangiku Matsumoto (Kaya Matsutani) too deep for you? o_0

Two songs from Fullmetal Alchemist also spring to mind. "Papa to Asobou" and "Ame no Hi wa No Thank You".
