been planning this for long enough, now im uploading it >:3 -------------------------------------------------------- Project ROYALE (Reticular phOtoelectronic Yggdrasil Advanced materiaLising Equipment) Years after the HiME war, the power of The Star is bestowed in both men and women. Fuuka Academy has now changed the name of the HiME project for ROYALE, which suits better the situation, and the people who posses ROYALE abilities have been classified into different categories. PRINCE (Perfect Realization of INdependent acCEss) PINCESS (female PRINCE) - (Perfect Realization of INdependent acCESs) QUEEN (QUaint Element Enchantress) KING (KInetic photoN enGineer) KINGs and QUEENs are special types of Materialisers. They are granted that title after doing a heroic deed, and their GEM is enhanced in powers. This does not make then unbeatable, since the GEMs also answers to the feelings of the user. When the GEM is upgraded, it receives the title of “Ultimate†(uber ebil bohhohoho xD) or “Pure†(uber kabuberly good xD). When a Materialiser is given the title of KING or QUEEN, the name of his GEM is added the Ultimate/Pure prefix. The GEM might also receive the prefix in another special situation, such as an extreme moment in which the Materialiser’s will to save someone reaches a climax, the GEM might change it’s name… as well as it might not. I will say when someone receives the Ultimate/Pure title, as well as KING or QUEEN title. E.g.: Ice Silver Crystal --> Pure/Ultimate Ice Silver Crystal The power to materialize has evolved and can not be used in any way. You need a GEM to use the power from The Star. The GEM will determine your elemental alignment, but not necessarily the shape of your Equipment. The Equipment consists of a Robe (which takes the name of the GEM) and the Element. In place of the Children, PRINCEs, PRINCESSes, QUEENs and KINGs have Guardians. They act in a similar way to a Child, but if the Guardian is killed, the GEM is destroyed, not the wielder of the power. (In Mai-HiME, when the Child was destroyed, the "key" died too, this is not happening here) There is no need for authorization to materialise the Equipment (in Mai-Otome there was need of authorization to materialise), although you cannot materialise just because, watch that too :P. Fuuka Academy gathers the people with the power of The Star and trains them at the school. Students are taught how to materialise when they get into 9th grade, around the age of fourteen. At that age, they are given a Coral GEM. When students arrive at their last year in the Academy, they are given a Pearl GEM, which they keep after they graduate, because many students don’t get a precious GEM after they leave school. The Coral and Pearl Students can materialise Elements and Guardians, the Elements will just be some sort of basic weapon, and by basic I’m not saying it cannot be either powerful or flashy, but you can not have an Element that looks like one from a Precious GEM when you are at Coral or Pearl level (E.g.: You can’t have the Gun Cannon Natsuki has in Mai-Otome, or the clawed-gauntlet things Nao uses in Mai-HiME, but you can have a normal weapon such as a pole-type weapon like in Mai-Otome’s Coral or Pearl students, which can slightly change its form to adapt your fighting style. You don’t have to have a pole-like weapon, it is just an example, but remember, nothing too "pro" for Coral and Pearl levels). Coral or Pearl level can also summon a Guardian, which has to be a minor deity or magical being. In the case of a Precious GEM, the Guardian can be a Major deity or magical being. E.g.: A Coral cannot summon the Fire God Kagustsuchi, but he/she can summon a minor fire deity, such as a Salamander, which is a fire elemental, a minor magical being. Talking about the GEMs, you can choose one from the beginning, so that either when you graduate or in the middle of the storyline you will surely get the one you want. If you are given a GEM and you have not graduated, it is something logical that you do not know how to use its full powers yet. This is why I’ve created this Materialisation system. 1)Materialise! (The normal materialisation all the students can do, and the fully fledged ROYALE members do) 2)Materialise Zwei! (When a student is given a Precious GEM, he can not activate its full power with the first materialisation, so a second one is required. Students that have received a GEM after graduating, QUEENs and KINGs cannot use this materialisation) 3)Double Materialise! (A materialisation done with a partner. In this type of materialization, the power both of the GEMs combine, making a new identical robe for both fighters, as well as identical elements. During this materialisation, a Guardian can not be summoned) 4)Quadruple Materialise! (Materialisation done in a group of four people. This materialisation can be done if the four GEMs have a certain relationship, such as the four elements or the four cardinal points, etc.) As I’ve told you before, you can choose the GEM but not immediately use it. If you have a background story and your character already has a GEM in his/her possession, the GEM can only be used in critical situations, unless you either have a very good reason to be able to use it or unless you are either a Teacher/Graduated Student/Member of the Military/KING/QUEEN. Note only the high ranked members of the military have a precious GEM, normal members have Quartz GEMs, Bronze GEMs, Silver GEMs and Gold GEM, ordered from the lowest to highest ranks. The Precious GEMs (Generable Enigmatic Matrix) are:
Note that Pure White Diamond and Ultimate Black Diamond are not available to choose, they will make an important part of the plot. another important note regarding the GEMs is that every Coral robe is the same for everyone, and every Pearl robe is the same for everyone too. and as ive said in my last post (and included in my profile) you gotta say that ure Coral or Pearl if you're still in the school. And if you've already graduated, you can also be a PEarl GEM weilder, you might as well get a GEM later in the RP =) I ask of you, if you have a GEM in your power, please tell how and where u got it. Your profile must have this basic skeleton; you might add some other things as well, it will be your choice. lessee...is this RP based on the Mai Hime manga caused the anime doesn't have PRINCESS or the other stuff...the gems's from Mai Otome so i'm clear on that... i can't help you with the big blank, it's there to stay...i've got a problem with it in another RP as well T_T. you can ask gendou about it though, i'm just too lazy to ask adding the rest later... Name: Lucas de Castilla Gender: Male Age: 16 turning on 17 Bio: Coming from Argentina, half spanish, half german, Lucas was found by the Fuuka's Academy Research group after he accidentally did a large magical disaster, which was luckly done in an open field so noone ended up being hurt. He was given a scholarship and now he's staying in Fuuka's dorms, part-time working at a cafe downtown. @Luvi, a gun canon similar to Natsuki's? from Mai Hime or Otome? i only have the picture of Natsuki Kruger's weapon, but it's from a figurine. |

as for your guardian, you mitght summon that chimera when u use the Rumbling Thunder Garnet, since you're 18 and you use a Pearl GEm, you might summon a minr beast. as for the rest, i sent you a PM. --- LOL u added 2 years to your char so as not to make a mess xD rofl its ok, clever way of avoiding modifying it much =) ---- NOTE! a substantial modification has been done to the introductory post: Ive added the elementl alignment to your GEMs. Any doubt/question/complaint will be pmed to me, thank you =) ---- ill add your profiles to the introductory post laters... prolly tomorrow xD |

Mid-year exams were coming and Lucas didn't want to fail them. "Gee! This Materialisation theory is way too complex!", Lucas said, rubbing his head. 'Stupid teachers, when I get a chance to awaken my GEM, I'm gonna hit them hard', Lucas thought, looking at the tiny black box that had his GEM inside. He continued his studies in spite of all the confusing terminology and his rage towards some teachers; he did not want to loose his scholarship. -------------- Setting is Fuuka Academy, around December I guess? I don't live in the northern hemisphere lol. Now, regarding organization in the school, there will be teachers, a headmaster, student council and research facilities. The existance of teachers won't mean you will have classes every single day, they will participate in the plot too, available for all of you to control, in a REASONABLE way. They are not your characters. NOTE that most of the teachers are HiMEs/Otomes. Well, We will trast them all as HiMEs. Since they are like the "first generation" of HiMEs, they won't need the GEM to materialise. For those that have seen the anime/read manga, if you consider there are more teachers to be added, tell me. Mai's Age is 22 and Arika's 20. All teachers are around that age exept Miss Maria, who is old as teh world, and Yukariko, who would be around 26. Mashiro should be around 18 too. Well i think that is it for now. Kaile woke up with a start. He'd been having these weird dreams lately, of some incoming war, explosions and mutants created by him in the research project... but he had nothing to do with anything like that! He got out of bed, sweating and out of breath, trying to control his now trembling muscles. "I have to stop drinking so much coffee and sodas" He said cleaning the sweat off his forehead. With a heavy sigh, he went to his bathroom and washed the sleep out of his eyes. "There, a bit better. C'mon, you're a grown man now, quit chickening up for a stupid nightmare!" He said a bit angry at himself for falling into such nonsense. He looked around, his room wasn't a mess as it had been two days ago when the research consumed all his time. He dug a book out of his shelf and stretched before sitting down and copy some documents. Living with your work sometimes have its advantages; at least you're never late. |

(ooc:Just say you were ding research gee! xD okey, so Kaile is Head Researcher in Fuuka, Scarlet is Head Researcher of the military, who is currently working at Fuuka and Sagara is General of the Military, who are itnerested in the research project that Fuuka is doing. Since the military is interested, they sent Scarlet to the Academy, and she and Sagara should be in touch. Sagara can choose being in the Academy too. She ducked her head under the cover as she sighed softly. She definitely did not want to study. "Let's see, fail and be murdered, pass or lose sleep." She mumbled sleepily to herself as she flipped through another page "Well, one can say I lived a good life." She laid her head on the pillow and fell asleep for a moment before quickly waking up "But I like living too much." She whined softly "How did my parents blackmailed me into this again?" She mutter pulling off the covers going towards her desk (I'm random, sue me.) |
