Everybody's teachers are different. some hear you cuss, while others wink and reminisce of when they did that. Do your teachers hear you?

I hardly speak in class unless I'm called on to read something in a book or so. Mostly by that, I don't curse out loud anyways. One time though, we saw like 15 minutes of BORAT in my math class. She said she'd turn it off, but she just sat there and heard/saw it.

I'm not in any kind of school right now, but I used to cuss one chain of words including slur words that isn't widely used in Singapore, infront of the teacher in a few languages(English, Malay, Chinese, Tamil, Japanese and there's one more i can't remember) when I was in secondary school. I got praised for having a good vocabulary and having a large scope of languages...and an extra sheet of homework. Reason I cussed: There's this one fat plod (yea, he's really round. and pissed me off way more than many) behind me that kept on knocking on my chair with his pencil during English class...I already kept up with his antics the whole week, but when he tapped non stop throughout the class, I suddenly stood up, turned around and cussed him in those 6 languages. He understood the first four languages, but became dumbfounded at the latter two and racist slur words that he never heard before. He kept quite for the whole day. |

^^i dont cuss in front of people..just the occassional slip off the mouth :P probs mostly to myself when something goes wrong/surprises suprises  |

My humanities teacher doesn't even care, since he swears a lot himself xD usually we don't swear though. |

Hehehehe My English teacher at college was wonderful..he was hot, young and he definitely used to swear a lot! I used to laugh all the time at his.."Man...just do the Fuc...g homework people...it's not that Fuc....g hard!" Ahahaha,,he was hilarious! |

| In elementary and high school, never. I was in a Catholic School, so it's taboo. In college, I was in a non-sectarian University, so I could cuss all I want, but not in the classroom. My professors would hear us cuss in the corridors but they didn't give a hoot. Just an occasional snort of disapproval here and there, but what can they do? |

I don't cuss, save when I'm REALLY angry(not very often). You get a greater effect that way. I mean if you cuss to express displeasure over small things how will you express displeasure over large things?  |

I don't cuss. Okay I do. But not in front of the teacher or the person I hate XD when the cost is clear, or someone agrees with me, I cuss out loud tebayo~  |

| I like cursing. I think it adds life and flavor to your dialogue. But it's a garnish, you shouldn't add too much of it. There is always a time and a place where you can get away with it. I don't curse so much in college but it does roll off my tongue easily. People don't seem to mind. |

i probably cuss way to much infront of my teachers but after the first few detentions the teachers got use to it i guess ... (its that or they just ignore me now XD)  |

Well, I never cussed in front of them to their face or anything. Sometimes they would hear my in the hallway or something, and they would just give me weird looks. I was the quiet goody-goody girl at school, so it was "shocking" if I did something deemed unacceptable. I had a potty mouth when around my friends though.

cuss? new word for me, but yeah I got it xD And I don't cuss :P If I cuss, it just doesn't sound real :S I tried few times with my friends and they couldn't help laughing T.T   |

cuss?? I was a good girl. But now I have a potty mouth. It's like a second nature to me. And I guess that's what you've got after living with foul-mouthed housemates for 2years. Although I'm trying to suppress it little by little. I try to lower the volume, in other words, you must have a pretty good ears to hear me muttering/hissing a curse. And to answer your question: NO, my teachers never hear me cussing. Simply because I avoid to speak when they're around. |

err... amazingly, when i am in front of the people i should respect i don't cuss. it just.. happens! XD but there was one time when i said the 's' word and my teacher laughed... o.O and said the word again... o.o which is really weird.

i don't really understand why cursing is such a big deal. S*** means the same as crap, and we say that all the time. what's the deal? are teachers inventors of the derogatory nature of cuss words?

The real question for me is do my teachers even hear me SPEAK! XD My teacher cuss and say a lot of inappropriate things themselves. I never found a good reason to cuss except for the Oh S*IT!~ moments  |
