I don't remember this ever being a thread, but if it is I'm sorry. I couldn't find anything relating to this kind of thing. ^^; Basically make short comics involving members, events or whatever in Gendou.com. Group work or just your own creations are fine, but make sure it's within the Gendou site. -Has to stay related to members, events and so on in the Gendou.com site. -Keep it clean. -You can go ahead and say whatever about an anime character but don't badmouth another Gendou member or make fun of anything anyone important does. (Like Gendou.) Just use common sense and think about your humor. -It doesn't have to be humorous, you can make serious ones as well.    |

@Eureka- Sure. Like I said, if you have your own stuff then feel free to submit it. I'm just using an RPG Maker because I can't draw.>.> I'll get one done soon though, I have the idea just not the software installed.^^ |

I am not much of a humorist but I sure would like to have a go at character design. Since I have absolutely no idea what you all look like, anything that I come up with would be totally unrelated with reality. -_-' Now do we want to stick with Chibi version of Gendou member or can they be normal size?  |

@Withoutyou- It's up to you for size. As for looks, just give your own interpretation of what they look like. Or better yet you might be able to model them after the avy's or sig's the member's use. |

For humor you can always go to the Funny Chat Quotes in Waste of Time. As for sprites, I can try to do customs, but I can always do recolors if needed.  |

@Eureka: You can do one of whatever you want, but it has to remain within the forum rules. I started one and by the looks of it I won't be making a lot. It's taking me a while to just do a single panel. What I'll do instead is just make a little series that will go on every time I get a new strip done. |

Gendou Comics ehh..nice idea. I'll take part in this. I'll probably contribute on the scripts, humor and arts. I don't have a software for the 2D/sprites though, I will just do sketches..if that is needed. @Jon: Questions>need to make things clear :).. -Do you need people to draw the characters for you? or do you have an idea already for the characters/storyline? -Are you gonna choose only one user who will draw everything? -Is it just gonna be pure comedy? The intention was a humor comic. I don't want to spend a long time on an action kind of comic with battle scenes and stuff like that. I would like any character drawings to use, but if your going to draw them like in the You Draw Anime thread then there isn't much point to giving them to me since I'll merely be taking a partial amount of credit for things I didn't work too hard on. I'd like to have people draw them. Sprites are better since their small and easy to work with. |

I don't have a sample done as of yet. It seems to be taking me much longer than I thought. I will work on it, but it won't be done for a while. |

Well, I should study Sprite style a little before I can draw anything. Here is something I conjured up. If it is not what we are looking for, please let me know. It is not complete yet because I ran out of idea and because I would like some feedback. Also, I didn't mean to pick on Eureka. It is only because it is easy to find images on Eureka 7 to study on. WEEEH~!! Gendou comics da harhar~ X3 I am so into this, but I'm not good at doing sprites tebayo~ since I'm not a pixel artist--I'm BAD at them D: but I can offer plot/humor and stuff if you like XD or chibi comics can also be nice dattebayo~  |
