A quick question:

Has anyone ever gotten into an anime because the music was really, really awesome? Because music is a huge deal to me, and made me want to get into it more. |

| I listened to 'Ashita e Brilliant World' by angela before actually watching Stellvia of the Universe ^^;; Well... rather than Jpop, I prefer anime songs, I think... Anyway, lots of famous artists give their songs for popular anime themes ^^ So, like it or not, I got to know the artists (one of another way ^^ ) |

Yeah, most things that appear/ed on [adult swim], mostly the Yoko Kanno stuff (CB, WR, GITS:SAC). Of course, The Pillows were awesome in Fooly Cooly. |

In addition to a couple other factors, I watched Hikaru no Go because of I'll Be the One. I'm so glad I did!! ^_^ I really want to see Madlax because of the music. I also found out that some of my favourite seiyuu like Sanae Kobayashi are in it, so I really want to see it. It comes out in three days!!

Same. I bought Haibane Renemi for the music. The show was awesome but, the musci was to die for.

| hmmmmmmmmm.........for me i only like anime not becasue of the music but because of the anime itself but if i think the music is catchy i will get the music no matter, basically a pointless mission for this bored azn xP |

| hi, i'm new here - really enjoying this site so far. i never determine what i wanna watch on the music i hear - it can be really deceiving. narutaru, for example - the mood of the series was nothing like that of the opening theme. and some good series have terrible music, while some terrible series have really catchy tunes. but my fave anime soundtrack is from my fave anime series, furi kuri. |

Yeah it happened to me...i'll name some of them for yah... Agony from Kannaduki no Miko Beautiful and New World from .hack//DUSK In My Dream from Brain Powered... guess that's that for now...my brain don't work right.  ^_^v PEACE OUT! |

| yup kinda happened to me too...when i first heared the song Invoke for gundam seed,i got hooked into the story...and sometimes its the other way around...i enjoy the music because it fits perfectly to the anime that im watching... |

That happens to be from time to time...I fell in love with Kita 1~Diamond Dust Drops because of the skippy opening theme and its sadly touching ending theme...

If you actually listen to the music, InuYasha has some pretty good fully orchestrated insert songs in it. they do tend to get a little bit repetitive though, because there are a lot of different versions fo repeating themes.  |

Actually, most of the animes, usually the good ones, have a good lineup of music. Ruruoni Kenshin, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach, Eto Rangers, Chuuka Ichibia, DigiMon, You're Under Arrest, etc. In games (underrated), however; (e.g.) the Persona series had some nice techno songs. Although it's a very old game, you'd think otherwise because the music had slight 'advancement' with the blends. |

Oh totally, i really get seduced by the prospect of either Steve Conte or Yoko Kanno performing any music in the anime's thats why i started watching brain powered, and although i love the anime anyway, with the music its just spectacular! xxx Naz xxx |

yoko kanno im a fan of her the simple think that she sings any song of any anime makes it a better prodcut IM A YOKO KANNO FAN!!!!!!!
