Hi All~! Lavi here.. I'm a Death Note Fan here, Dont know whether anyone is also a fan of Death Note. So Let's get started! Yagami Light creating a new world and started killing criminal right or wrong? I personally feels that Yagami light is wrong, because even criminal also can turn from bad to good when they realise they are wrong however Yagami Light just killed them like an ant without giving them a second chance.. like to hear from all ^^

Light had the right intention to use the Death Note. There were just things he did wrong. 1. Some criminals actually resent their crimes and wish to reform. 2. Light started to get a bit inflated in the head because he obtain so much power. This is will definetly come back to Light in spades. Light's becoming a sociopath as the story progresses. |

| I dunno about killing criminals, but using his own family and those who love him for his own benefit, even to the point of killing them is wrong... And i hate him sooo much for that. Why didn't he die by being shredded slowly from the feet up to his head? heart attack is too good for him... How i wished ryuk was more of a psychopath... -_- |

Light,or Kira is definitely wrong. Everyone deserves to have their mistakes and to have a second chance. We are human after all. Not only that but he would oppose anyone in his way,to create his perfect little world.The flaw in his plan is clear,the world will never be perfect,kill everyone you want,but you'll have to keep killing everyone. He grew into an Egomaniac.  |

Never watched the anime/manga... But watched part one of movie... Light... At first i thought he did the right thing... Well kinda... The people he killed are all murderers... That is number one death penalty in my book... (unless there are mental issues)... Anyway... He was ok at first... Killing only those that were REALLY bad you know? Those that still shown no interest in repenting... (uh... Spoiler??) However... Later in the movie... Light actually killed the policeman that was following him... That mad me think twice abit bout him... And he UTTURLY CHANGED when he even plotted to even kill his love, just for him not to get caught... He became a man that kills others just to prevent from getting caught, just like the killers he killed... So its just basically a killer killing a fellow killer... IMHO. And as for second chances go, killing is not one of em... I believe people invent videogames for that...  Claimed |

I think what Kira did was wrong..by killing the criminals he was also committing murder as well..so i guess that doesnt make him any different from the criminals.  |

i think its neither, the thought of killing the criminals is right but killing even the criminal who wishes to change is wrong.  |

i think judging what he did by the two standards of "right" and "wrong" is an incorrect thing to do. this case is very difficult to judge. as far as the idea goes, i think it is arrogant and rash to think that you have the right to perform prosecutor, judge and jury and kill anyone you think is not good enough for your own little utopia, but on the other hand you can see in the manga the results of what he does: crime rates drop and the world really IS turning into what light is trying to make it. anyway, rather than rating it right or wrong, i'll say that i wouldn't do it and if i knew someone else was i would try to stop him/her. i do agree with some of the comments made here about how using the death note affected light. he became obsessed with killing people and that was what killed him. *** spoiler paragraph *** regarding the manga, i think that ending it when light gives up the death note when he is imprisoned would have been a perfect ending and the two "sagas" that followed that were not as good as the first one, but the ending was pure brilliance and just because of that the whole second half of the manga becomes much better. really having light die pathetically like that was the perfect ending. it really makes you see why what he did is so hard to grasp. to think that every single person he killed might have felt the same way he did just before he died.... ~.~ |

| what light did was purely wrong...his intention was not pure at all we simply wanted to be feared, to be a god...so he acted like a savior...he killed criminals to gain simpathy as well as to threaten every one that is against is will... |

I agree with Kikaru Light,what Kira-Light has been doing is neither Right nor wrong in my opinion too,no matter how much the criminals don't want to die,or regret what they had done,what's done is done,even if they want to repent,they can't undo what they did,like killing,or stealing,etc. Then again,if i put it that way,then killing them doesn't do anything either,since killing them won't undo the mistakes they did.But if they are left alive,they may repeat their previous mistakes,so i guess killing them is better:p All my opinion.^ ^ |

wise words from a stranger : noone holds truth in their hands, thus no one can really discern between the true right and the true wrong, kira is doing what he thinks is right, but for some other people that might seem really wrong. in this world of lies and uncertainity, no one can tell between right or wrong, they just do what they think is best...  |

Kira's intentions were good but Kira is NO GOD so for me Kira is definitely wrong ~ but i would'nt mind what he's been doing because who does'nt want to eliminate all criminals in this world, so deshou? :) |

i thought kira was right until he started killing innocent people and the cops. his intention was good, which is to cleanse the world from criminal scums. and the laws dont really work right sometimes (thus the guilty criminals are released). but its really hard to judge if someone is guilty or not. then, like some people has said, they might turn to good someday. it'd be good though to live in a world without crimes.  |

I agree with you... and I'll say why. Light Yagami uses his Death Note to kill or finish off criminals. We find out though that he's willing to kill anyone who is going after him on this case. [ Including FBI agents, etc. ] I think maybe the Death Note is taking over him. Not really "taking over him" as in it has power, but I just think Light takes advantage of it too much, as in he's going too far. My opinion, he's wrong. Killing is wrong, whether there is a reason or not, criminal or not, etc. I thought to myself "this is why there is such thing as something called 'jail'". I mean, criminals can change from being bad to good also, but killing is just wrong and chainging the world by killing other criminals is pretty much making him a big criminal himself. [ Hope I explained it well xD ]
