This is another great news i've heard in the last few month. First Kara no Kyoukai (from the makers of Fate/Stay Night) will made into a movie sometime this year. Now another one of my fave 'visual novels' will be made into a TV series & a MOVIE!!! CLANNAD ~After Story~   |

Hey, that preview looked pretty nice. AIR and KANON, yay! I haven't seen AIR yet, but I'll watch it after I finish up BLEACH (might skip some of these boring episodes). And you're right about the animation; it's freaking nice. When time comes, I hope to check out both of the films and the anime series. :D

I heard about it and is anticipating it. I loved Kanon and Air, and have high hopes about it.

I watch the manga of CLANNAD before...but it become to anime so intresting.Hope i can watch it soon.

@ Kay Well the story isn't as supernatural as Air or Kanon....it mainly dwells on family issues....the name CLANNAD does mean "family". There are alot of memorable characters in the series....Tomoyo (grey haired girl doing a Chun-li impression in the promo) is probably the most popular. A spinoff/sequel game was made for her...Tomoyo After:It's a wonderful life. It's the game with LIA singing the main song "Light Colors"...which i have on my profile. I absolutely love the straw in i think that is Fuko....looks so cute. The animation is i agree very good....we are talking about Kyoto Animation..... Anyways looking forward to it.....very happy they decided to keep the same voices like they did for Kanon & Air. Also the same music will be present as well.....time for me to dig up my Clannad OSTs from one of my HDs :). |

Well, this is some VERY nice news indeed. Toei and KyoAni are both capable animators, especially KyoAni, if you've seen Air and Kanon(2006). Well, I'm looking forward to this.  |

@izumo, i've always been wondering...where in the huge world of the www did you get all those songs? i've always liked songs from H-games/graphic novels but i can't really find them...the only songs i can easily find are usually songs sung by I've girls (since i can get the I've sound cds pretty easily) |

@ Kay Well to answer your question...the majority of the music i have are from the game disks. I usually buy the originals of the Hgames (cause they look good on the shelf & they usually come with extras not available when you torrent them)...i've spent quite alot of money over the years. Some i get from the magazine "Tech Gian" which is a popular magazine....sort of like an EGM for 'visual novels'. Every issuse has packed in a CD full of demos & songs (mostly the intros).... CD japan has a few OST from the games though you usually have to do a search for them since they don't display them...knowing the japanese name for the game helps findng it easier. What else...i remember a few years back there was a torrent that had every song for a Hgame released for the specific year. There is one for 1999 all the way up to 2004. Over a few thousand songs were in these files....all together it takes up about 8-10 gigs. I think there is one for 2005-2006 but i don't know how 'healthy' the torrent is anymore...i can check for you if you wish. As for the CLANNAD OST you can find some of them at cdjapan & himeyasoft....i have 6 of them...not sure if there are more....of course some of these are remix cds. |

i see...the only soundtracks i have are from KGNE, CODEPINK and KANON. then the rest are from I've Sound collection (lost the 1st till 5th volume T_T). but hey, maybe you could look it up for me^^ i can get CLANNAD ost at CD Japan?sweet...oh yea...i forgot...i don't have a debit card... T_T |

Sweet, I can't wait. Still, it's a shame that I can't read Japanese, let alone trying to speak it. Gah >_< I need help with learning the language.

@ Kajima Since AIR is summer....KANON is winter....CLANNAD's from what i can tell is springish...although the other seasons are also present. @ Kay I'll tell you what....i'll make a RAR file of one of the OST that i have so you can sample the music. I'll probably use the 1st disc of the OST...since it has the main theme that runs throughout the game..."TIDE (æ±)"...its the song that plays at the title screen of the game. Okay to get everyone in the mood for the anime series & movie...here are samples i've taken from the game....sort of an introduction to each of the main characters...mostly the girls you'll meet & probably fall for....(i did). These scenes may or may not be in the anime....i avoided spoilers so these shouldn't ruin anything. 1:Nagisa Furukawa    2:Kyo& Ryo Fujibayashi     3:Kotomi Ichinose    4:Fuko & KÅko Ibuki   5:Tomoyo Sakagami   Well...here they are! The 5 main heroines that you'll meet in this beautiful anime series....of course there are other character that you'll remember & love. Feel free to debate on which one will be your fave & the most popular. My money is on Tomoyo...but i like all of them. *Extra images*    |

@Izumo, sw33t, thanks alot. i usually borrowed my friend's card(and pay her back of course) if i wanna order CDs from CDJapan(and not opening the cd's plastic wrapping XD.i usually download the songs from nipponsei once i got the cds), but eversince she went overseas, i can't really do that...T_T |

@Kay No problem! Just wanna spread the news on this anime series.....by the way doesn't CDjapan accept money orders? It may take longer than paying by credit...but you don't need one to purchase. |

@Izumo, i'm not sure about CDJapan accepting money orders, and even if they do, i think it's pretty troublesome. i'm planning to make a debit card probably in a few months, so until then i might be illegally download music without having the CDs. |

Dang, the anime's really getting to me. I want to see it like, soon. Better yet, right now! Those images that Izumo posted, were nice. The anime really has perfection in anime/graphics/etc. :D

@ Kay Yeah i agree....i remembered ordering using a money order & it took months for it to get to me. I was sure that cdjapan uses it but i haven't checked lately since i now use credit. Anyways in the process of uploading the CLANNAD disk 1 RAR file to my file hosting site....so far another 1 hr 15 mins to go ^____^. I added a bonus to the file...there is about 15 songs on disk 1...but i included LIA's song as well called "Ana". The song is sung entirely in english & it is a very beautiful song. Also i translated all the songs to romanji...originally it was in kanji when i ripped it. When the uploading is done i'll post it up.... @ DA  Nice to kow you're as eager as i am for this series.....those screenshots are just to give you an idea of what to expect. I have to check the official site to see if a release date has been set....& if the movie will be out before or after the anime series. |
