Do you have to have Windows Media Player 11 to listen to the songs because I keep getting a Windows Media player Error Message, my other copmuter works fine for the songs and then I tried gettin Shooting Star by HOME MADE MAZUKO from Naruto (and the karaoke one) and they won't play....and yes, I tried other songs
hey...can someone make me a sig with Urashima Keitaro from Love hina next to Mutsumi and Belldandy and on the right of it has Belldandy next to Keiichi. AAH!! fergot his last name

I have WMP10 and the songs play fine. The format is what matters, I don't believe you have to have WMP11.    |

Well, I have windows media 9 because this computer uses windows 2000...instead of windows XP

You could try downloading another media player, like VLC, or winamp, although I'm not sure about the compatibility with 2000.  |

I once had Windows 98 and WMP9 and the songs still worked. Are you sure there are no problems with your WMP? If you think there might be you should re-install it. |

Yeah, I agree with Jon there. I had this problem a few times before, but I still use Windows Media Player 10 is it? Anyways, I hate the newest one, but I have the version of WMP before that and I seem to like it best of all.

Woahh.. I keep getting an error message too~!! But it only happens when I download "Shooting Star" by HOME MADE KAZOKU & "Sakura Biyori" by Mai Hoshimura!! The error message on WMP says: Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server. The server name might not be correct, the server might not be available, or your proxy settings might not be correct. Someone wanna help? =] |

@reasonablepride, what you're doing is streaming the music. it's against the rule to stream music. you'll need to download the file first then open it with WMP |

| I don't know if it was a bug or if it was fixed, I did have problems on my old computer with playing certain mp3s using WMP 10 or VLC. I poked around and found that for some reason it didn't want to play the file due to its bit rate (I think it was 128kbit). I changed it to 192kbit using an audio editing program and it played fine. An odd error/bug but I don't use WMP or VLC for playing music anyways. It's possible this could be the problem but my solution would be to get a better audio playing program! :D |

I downloaded that song yesterday I think it was. Are you just trying to open the file, or save it? That might make a difference, Synai said in another thread. I think.  |

i suggest either using musicmatch or winamp to play mp3s though...WMP can't really play every song unlike those two that i mentioned. also, at times, the main reason why songs won't play is due to the song's tag. |

@ Kay, it's really weird though since I never meant to stream the music... I just clicked the song link as usual (to download) and it popped up that message in WMP. O.o I'm so confused here cuz it only happens for "Shooting Star" & "Sakura Biyori" and everything else works fine. Is that happening to anyone else though or is it just me? |
