Good Female Characters to Cosplay as?

| Does anyone know any good anime character to cosplay as? I was wanting a female character that is not the usual ditzy type who must be saved and more of a powerful female.... Does anyone have any suggestions? |

If you like to be creative and cute then Cardcaptor Sakura would be nice, her costumes are aspiring tebayo~ or you can be Rey if you like sci-fi type.  |

!! You talking about Suzumiya Haruhi?? She's a pretty good one, and her costumes aren't that hard to portray either, except you wanna go as the bunny girl version... And Kaname Chidori from FMP... Strong girls right?? Or Rika & Mikan from Air Gear... Natsume Maya from tenjou Tenge... Otonashi Saya from Blood+ (the sword is pretty troublesome...) Rosette Christopher from Chrno Crusade... (Troublesome outfit...) Enma Ai from Jigoku Shoujo... (Have fun searching for kimonos... :D) Well, there are a lot aren't they? |

Lol, you're pretty high today, Sai tebayo~ XD well, yes, I forgot about Haruhi, pretty simple yet one of the most worn costumes of today dattebayo~! |

| Somebody from Azumanga Daioh, any Angelic Layer character, Chii sounds cool. I think doing Belldandy, and getting a friend to do Urd and Skuld sounds fun though. |

I highly recommend cosplaying the Rozen Maiden dolls! They really do have nice costumes like Suigintou's [black], Suiseiseki's [green] and Shinku's [red]. Other good female characters are Ren from Erementar Gerad, Misa from Death Note, Saber from Fate/Stay Night, Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed and Enma Ai from Jigoku Shoujou. There are lots of other cute girls out there but Japanese uniforms are too common >_<; |

i agree with jaydel.. japanese uniforms are too common, and so are kimonos.. you'll just look like a typical japanese girl with those.. though cosplaying enma would be nice.. hehe.. i recommend characters from sci-fi anime like costumes from gantz(too tight though), silent mobius(police custumes), robin from witch hunter robin(old fashioned, but the way she carries it, it so cool), or misa from death note.. any characters from anime with dark themed story...  |

eh enma ai, um michelle chan from ROD or Ms.Readman from ROD as well That sounds like a great idea. Michelle would be awesome. Miss Deep would be cooler though. I've seen a few people cosplaying as her, and it looks AMAZING! |

Ed or Faye from Cowboy Bebop!! They're really smart & have somewhat normal clothes. Except Faye is a bit of a slut. Maybe Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh with those crazy pigtails.
