Hmm... I seem to have alot of funny questions. lol Well, black hole sucks things in right? (however they do it) So y is light sucked in? I did some research. I said the light tat is sucked in is photons, but when i checked up the dictionary, the photon is assumed to have zero mass. (huh?) I'm sooo condused. maybe its my fault to think something which is out of my subjects... plz dun scold me =(  A friend of today is an enemy of tomorrow. I am an empty shell. I don't feel loved at all |

I might be wrong but I think you answered your own question. Black holes operate the way they do because of gravity. You said, protons are "assumed" to have zero mass, but, it does have a mass. Therefore gravity affects it and so does a black hole. I might be wrong, but I'm sure someone will correct me.
The next witty thing I think of and remember will likely end up here.
