 This is my idea that I've had for a little while. I want to try it out and will try to the best of my ability to keep it going with a good story. This is a murder mystery/supernatural RP, so don't expect constant fights with monsters or demons. The story takes place in a large city, close to today's time. Just recently a series of gruesome murders has taken place at random spots in the city. All of these murders have had no signs of who could have committed them or why, the only sign are groups of symbols on objects in the area. These murders happen at night or in dark secluded places, sometimes in daylight as well. A few people have survived these attacks, thanks mostly to weapons they happened to be carrying. This has led many people to begin carrying their own weapons, more and more as the murders increase in frequency. Alright, few rules to set and things to get straight. 1. No godding, that's obvious. You are only human in this RP (Even if you have the powers available.) You can only handle as much as a normal human. 2. You have human limits. Nothing a normal human can't do. (Unless you have one of the powers available, but that only let's you do what the power allows you to do.) 3. These are the powers available to people (You must come up with a back story as to how you got this power. Nothing like being born with it or crap like that.) 4. The 'murderers' ability to appear in daylight or brighter areas is determined by a phenomena known as 'Solar Noise'. When it is high the 'murderers' are unable to appear to bright places, but when it is low they are able to appear in relatively bright places or in light (They avoid large groups of people as they are not strong enough in singles to take on armed civilians and police.) 'Solar Noise'- Solar Noise is the daily intensity of rays from the sun. Intense rays affect 'Murderers' is strange ways, wounding, slowing reaction time drastically and even causing them to burn. Low intensity still has it's affects if in the open but not strong enough to limit a 'Murderer' to a high extent. Psychic/Seer - Can sense spiritual beings/the murders nearby presence. Can see (Through mental flashbacks) all the details the victim saw over the 4 hours prior to their death. (The body must still be there and you must touch it in order to do this.) Unholy Healer - Heals wounds from absorbing a victim's life energy. (Life energy only remains around a body for 5 hours after it's death. Applies to either victim or 'the murderers'.) RULE: If you use this power you are forbidden to make a victim or a 'the murderers' appear for no reason just because your wounded. There has to be a viable reason for a dead body to be there in order for you to get away with it. Gunslinger - Unlimited ammunition for weapon but at the cost of fatigue (More you use this power = More tired your character becomes.) Reloading is still required. As well anyone using weapons are able to carry normal ammunition but only a limited amount. Dark Lord - Can turn invisible in dark areas and mask presence from people and 'the murderers'. Useful for hiding, psychics/seers can bypass this. RULE: This is a stealth power, it's not for fighting. The moment you attack someone/something the power is lost for a short time. If your in the light this power won't work. Vampire - Gains temporary strength from sucking the blood out of living beings. Strength only lasts a short while. NOTE: Vampires are not in the traditional sense in this RP, by this I mean they aren't affected by sunlight. I also mean they can't turn into bats or any of that stuff. Daemon - Can temporarily transform their arm into a demon looking version of it. Effect can only be used for short times before fatigue sets in and causes the arm to return to normal. Succubus(Female Characters only) - Causes target to avoid attacking the character. Does not affect other aspects such as their ability to run away, hide, roll out of the way, etc. Effect does not work on the blind or targets with their eyes closed (This of course would make it so they can attack but still harder to get a hit.) Works on men and women (Sexuality affecting the ability on both.) That's it for now. I lost my train of thought so I'll add a few powers and rules later. For now though you can give your profile. Name: Age: Gender: Picture: (If you have one to represent your character.) Profession: (Nothing like merc, bounty hunter, warrior etc.) Backstory: (Little biography, how you got your power if any, why your involved in the investigation of 'the murderers' and so on.) Power: (Limit of one.) Weapon(If any): (Real world weapon, weapons too big to conceal cannot be carried with you out in the open.) Ammo limits vary depending on clothes being worn, type of weapon and accessories such as belts and holsters. Also, here is the max clip size for each weapon that people have listed so far. PSG-1 Sniper - 5 to 20 round box magazine Para Ordnance P14-45 - 14 rounds G36 - 30 rounds Sawed-Off Shotgun - 2 rounds Desert-Eagle - 9 rounds Gatling Gun - 200 round box 9mm SWORD CUTLASS (AKA Beretta 92) - 15 rounds Colt 1911 - 7 rounds, +1 in chamber Tanfoglio "Custom Hybrid" - 16 rounds Vincent Ayame Kay Kisuke Mira Rudy Tazuki Scout Homare Kojima Shinji Yaos Speed Murderer- As it's name implies it is swift on it's feet and light enough to leap quite high. It's strength is equivalent to that of a normal person's. It's endurance however is quite low allowing one or two shots in a vital area to kill it. Appears as in a reddish human shape only with extremely sharp teeth and wide mouth. Copy Murderer- A slug/worm looking 'Murderer' about 7 feet long and relatively fat. It snails it's away along the ground or floor looking for people to act as it's host. Due to the fact that it is slow, large and needs to swallow a victim whole as well as alive to use it as a host, it is rarely seen. Weak all around unless it takes on a host in which case it uses it's host appearance to move around in public and go about any business it pleases. Hard to kill in this state as it would appear to everyone else as though your attacking and killing an innocent person which would make you wanted for murder or assault. It uses this fact to it's advantage. After getting a hold of a victim it gains their knowledge of the world making it's intelligence varied. Kamikaze Murderer- Although it appears and acts like a regular 'Murderer' it explodes when the threat of death is imminent and will take anyone with it given the chance. It also has a high endurance and can take numerous shots before reaching the point of death. Blade Murderer- A regular 'Murderer' with sharp blades attached to it's arms. Otherwise completely average. The kind of blades have slight variations among them, some being serrated while others being double sided. Psychic Murderer- A Murderer with psychic abilities. Is able to preform simple things like strangling people, throwing small objects and (due to the intelligence required to use psychic powers) can speak human. Other than it's psychic abilities it is overall a weak Murderer and no immediate threat in long distances or when confronted by more than one enemy. Spider Murderer- Has spear like arms and is able to crawl along walls or other objects like a spider. Uses this to make stealthy attacks but otherwise isn't an effective fighter since it can only stab at it's opponents and has no mouth with which to bite. Micro Murderer- A small and incredibly weak Murderer in any situation. Mostly they swarm dead bodies or wounded humans to feed and, as far as Murderer's go, are considered vultures. Giant Murderer- A massive Murderer with four eyes allowing it to compensate for the fact that it is easy to hit and doesn't move quickly. This Murderer is almost never seen for this reason, it causes large damage and casualties in a short time but is easy to kill with heavy weapons.    |

Hey Jonathan!! ^^;; well, i guess i'll be the first to fill out XD Name: Mira Age: 17 Gender: Female Picture:  Profession: Wanderer Backstory: She was an orphan from the day she was born. No one knew of who her parents were, only that she had guns within her hands. A pair of wandering mercenaries came by her one day and tried to take her guns seeing their value, but the girl wouldn't let go, therefore, they took her in as her own to gain money off of her. Over time, they drilled her through endless training until they saw fit. Over time, their saw the fruits of their labor...she no longer required bullets in order to fire. Many years passed from that, and the two mercenaries were growing old, so before they died...they told her one thing, DON'T live the life they had...a mercenary. Power: Gunslinger Weapon(If any): two desert Eagles Oh...if the pictures too large, tell me...^^;;  |

Kisuke was intensely trained in using swords and guns from a very young age. He received his ability when he first visited the city and was approuched by a unknown person, a man about 30. Power: Gunslinger Weapon(If any): Revenant(katana), 2X custom rapid-fire pistols. Uses a custom M4 Carbine with a larger clip[http://img490.imageshack.us/img490/1096/riflem4wgripsmallxf9.jpg] instead of his pistols in emergency cases when more firepower is needed.

When the old man died, he started a jurney to see the world. Power: Gunslinger Weapon(if any) modified Sawed off shotgun that has 6 shots(one he is holding in pic) and twin Deasert eagles 7 bullets each eagle. He caries 6 extra clips for the Desert Eagles Via Belt pouch and about 12 bullets for the shotgun Via vest pockets  |

Name: Tazuki Kyori Age: 23 Gender: M Picture:  Profession: Police Officer Backstory: Born into a family of policemen. The boy at a young age was trained continuosly to be an effective policeman. Though in truth in the end he appeared to be more suited to a miltary career, but he was placed as a riot control for the city police by his father's wishes. Despite brute stength, he still managed to master nonleatheal fighting, accurarately fireing tactical shots, he can effectively disable an suspect with minimal or no damage. With recent murders, he's been assighned to patrol the streets for any sort of disturbance. Power: N/A (no real power besides years of experience in the feild, and a good degreee in strenth considering he can weild the gatling cannon effectively) Weapon(If any): A standard issue Colt 1911 with a flashlight and laser point aimer, years of training and tha LP system makes mis accuracy near perfect even with a pistol. Alternatively he can fight with a reconfigurable Light Gatling Gun by switching parts around before going into a fight. Though he cant fight too effectively while running with it. Origanally a dream idea from watching James Bond movies, he put together scrap parts from old weapons, creating the weapon, as clanky and heavy as it is, it is a powerful tool depending on what he loads onto it. The singular cylenders on the rotating barrel where enlarged to launch rubber shots, flashbangs, teargas, or other riot cotrol weapons. However it can still reconfigure back to a normal Gatling Cannon, or be equipped with more leathal weaponry with a switch of the barrel. The amount of ammo is dependant on the misson. Or loadout of his weapon, though he carries ample amounts of extra pistol clips in the pockets under his jacket,, in a full fledged riot or fight using his gatling gun, he greatly supports the idea of carrying as much ammo as possible. either in the form of military vests, to large handheld cases, and even a stache of ammo in his police car... if ya dont belive me see the last photo from police car inventory inspection Name: Scout Asakura Age: 20 Gender: F Picture:  Profession: Police Officer Backstory: When she was born her parents where instantly shoked at the look and color of her eyes. A peircing red, they instatntly thought shed be somone with very good eyesight, deciding to name her Scout. Scout had a troubled beggining. Oftentimes getting into fights. Though she dosent look like it now, she had exeptional fistfighting skills. The first girl to win her town's fistfighting championship (well the only winner in that matter). Though her attitude was toned down during junior high years, she continued to polish her melee skills. Still she's prone to anger when antagonized enough, and usually sends her fists flying just when her anger meter tips off. Meeting Tazuki in the police academy, the two where known to always compete for the best grade. Though in the end Scout admitted defeat. When they joined the force, fate would have it that they'd be assigned to the same cop car. Usually carrying extra ammunition, she serves an important role as Tazuki's partner. Providing ammo, and giving cover fire when Tazuki is setting up his Gatling Gun as an emplacement. She's not appreciative of the current murders, and hopes to come across somthing in her patrols with Tazuki. Power: N/A (no real power really, maybe you could say melee?) Weapon(If any): Perferrs a PSG-1 Sniper that's normally carried along in the car with the Gatling Gun, up to now she's only used it for sport, the only area Tazuki could never beat her in during SWAT training was on the sniper range. One would be cautious when cought in her crosshairs. In public she carries the standard issue Colt 1911 with the Laser point like the one Tazuki carries. And a flaregun that ignites targets should the flare hit them. She also carries some extra ammunition hidden under her police coat, and an ammo belt carried during more extreme situations. When Tazuki's fighting with his gatling cannon, Scout is known to carry an ammunition case. What's in it is dependant on what's loaded onto the Gatling Gun. "DEFCON 1" In the worst of the worst, the police get get rearmed to military grade. Also known as "Defcon 1" this callsign allows for the most leathal weapons in the police armory to be brought out. Tazuki gets larger round boxes for his Gatling cannon with rounds capable of turning a truck into a scrap heap. Scout is rearmed with either the M-4/203 with it's attatched gernade launcher or the deadly Barret 50 caL. anti-matirial sniper rifle. Capable of penatrating though layers of armor.   |

Note (None of you did this so far) but try to avoid copying others profiles, more specifically back-stories. Make it original to some extent. I will also set ammo limits for everyone's weapons based on their character type. (i.e. A scantly dressed girl cannot hold as much ammo as a guy with military clothes that have more pockets. Of course you can add things like ammo holder belts or things like that but ammo will have some limit. Name: Vincent Gender: Male Picture:  Age: 22 Profession: Private Investigator Back-story: Moved into the city alone to set up his own Investigative business about the same time as the mysterious murders began to happen, because of this he is always flooded with jobs so he only accepts ones he finds interesting. Serious at times but otherwise tends to make jokes and use a darker sense of humor. His power came from his first day in the city when he was on his first case. During the investigation he was attacked by a half dead 'murderer' getting bitten before being able to shoot it. Power: Unholy Healer Weapon: 2x Tanfoglio "Custom Hybrid" (Italian) - Normally uses one at a time for accuracy reasons. Also to fire a more constant stream of shots without having to reload (When both guns are empty he does have to reload two which increases time.) Carries these on most every Investigative case. Carries 4 extra clips of ammo near holsters on belt (2 extra clips for each gun). German G36 - Uses this in emergency cases when an immediate threat is confirmed. Takes belt with holders for 6 extra clips of ammo while using this. Handguns are left behind to allow this belt. Name: Ayame Gender: Female Picture:  Age: 20 Profession: Assistant Private Investigator/Secretary Back-story: Was chosen out of a few applicants who applied to Vincent's P.I business. Whether Vincent chose her because of her looks or her powers is questionable. She acts as a Secretary and also accompanies Vincent on some of his cases because her powers come in handy for this kind of work. She received her powers when she was attacked by a 'murderer' during the time the attacks first started. She survived the attack and found these powers after her mother and father were killed and she came in contact with their bodies. Power: Psychic/Seer Weapon: Para Ordnance P14-45 (Canadian) - Carries with her for basic self defense purposes. Only carries 1 extra clip of ammo. |

Name:Kyuka, Midori Age: 15 Gender: Female Picture:  (Ignore the blood)Profession: Student/ Self-imposed Paranormal Investiagtor/ Part-time Maid at a resturant Backstory: Her ability of Seer Sight and Psychic ability awakened when her family was killed infront of her by a couple of assasins while she was hidding. The sight of their blood and cries of pain and suffering drove her to kill the assailants while using her Seer Eyes to learn of the moves of the assasins through her dead parents and family members. She was already trained to use the sword and made short work of them useing her mother's prized sword (which she still uses). The police found her staring at the wall with the bodies of the assailants all around her. The police knew of the training of the family and didn't press charges to the little girl on the account of temporary mental instability. She took all the scrolls and books and learned from there on her family's various styles and the family ability and its branches. She has some experience dealing with paranormal activity. She has been aproched by a man (who also survived) on the mysterious murders around the city. She accepted the offer to investigate. Power: Psychic-Seer Ability Weapon: Kyuka Family Sword (The long thing on the picture, and it came in the mother's side). Smoke bombs (Black little balls). And a small pistol that caries only 6 bullets (I don't have any specific pistol in mind). She carries only one extra clip (clothes restriction). -SinWeaver

Name: Naomi Zhong Age: 13 Gender: Female Picture: Not Avalible Profession: High School Student (unable to get a job) Backstory: When she started high school, she was experiencing strange pictures of the future before she was under attack in a high school murder and had contacted her dead friend Aya after she was killed in the event. She got her powers after a car accident with her family before starting high school. She survived and had a coma for 4 weeks she said she saw a gang of murderers in black that caused that accident believed to be hijacked by the gang. She lives with her Aunt, her sister and her baby brother. Power: Psychic/Seer Weapon: (not chosen yet!) |

Although he is not that interested in the murderers, due to his customers telling him about them, he unofficially became an informant on the murderers, selling rare informations at a price. He got his powers when he saw a nightmare that he is unable to remember a week before he became an informant. Power: Vampire Weapon(If any): 1 x "Para Ordnance" P14-45 and 1 x "Para Ordnance" P14-45 LDA pistols,kept in holsters under his coat.10 extra magazines, clipped on belt with a magazine holster. Name: Homare Homura Age: 18 Gender: F Picture:  Profession: Part-time Bartender/Assistant informant Backstory: A part-time bartender in the bar 'Together'. Has been working in the bar for 2 years. She also assist Kay in gathering information and selling them. She gained her powers when she was attacked by a group of murderers but somehow survived unscathed. Power: Succubus Weapon(If any): 1 x'9mm SWORD CUTLASS'(the gun that Revy from Black Lagoon,used). 2 extra magazines kept in a bag. @Jon, i just realized your 2nd character, Ayame, is using a P14-45 as well...O_o |

Name: Kojima Miyamoto Age: 24 Gender: male Picture:  (best one i could find at such short notice)Profession: Librarian Backstory: Moved to this town 5 years ago for a different life, Kojima got his power after getting lost one night returning home. as he went into a dark alley he found that some hooded person was following him, he ran and tried to escape into the sewers, but as he was running the stalker managed to get in front somehow and brought him to the ground. as he went for the kill, Kojima, out of desperation, thrusted his arm that was suddenly coursing with energy, ripping through his ,"murderer to be's" chest. since that night, he equips and trains himself with weapons and refuses to let his arms be exposed by wearing long sleeved clothing and jackets. and in his spare time, visits those affected by the murders. (too long you think?) Power: Daemon Weapon: sleeve Daggers (think Major Hughes from FMA). Versatile weapons, capable of being thrown a moderate amount of distance. although only one pair can be hidden in the sleeves, he keeps an extra 5 pairs by wearing them on his back with belts

Osha~ Imppy here tebayo~ I'll try to get back on my "RP Days"...I kinda miss them (o3o) Picture:  Name: Tasuki Kusanagi Age: 15 Gender: Male Profession: High School Student/Delinquent Backstory: Tasuki is a delinquent, the school referred to him as, "The Hellfire" because of his demonic eyes and terrifying personality. He was living alone by himself ever since he got to high school. He barely has friends, and spends most of the time fighting with students who annoy him and suspension cases. The school soon expelled him because of his brutal actions. But the school administration discovered his way of fighting is much more roughshod than the other normal bullies, it's as if he's trying to kill someone. Because of this, they tried to discover what's within him that makes him so violent and wrathful. But the observation is risky, due to Tasuki's attitude and sense of anger. Tasuki has yet to find out his true self and what kind of special talents he is having, and to choose whether to use it for evil or good. Power: Daemonic (with absence of awareness until the storyline goes) Weapon: A plain dagger for self defense purposes. ~~~ Tell me if I need to modify some of them dattebayo~  |

Backstory: shinji was raised by his father as a gunslinger..to protect himself..his mother had been killed one night when he was 3..but no one knew who killed her..shinji was devaested by the loss of his beloved mother..so after he death..he swore revenge on the murderers..he learn to kill using his 2 guns...one black..one white....both from his father..he also trained himself to run very first..in order dodge away other people attacks..due to training almost every single day..killing gangster etc..he soon loss interest in school..so he decides to drop out..now roaming the city..looking for the murderers..he wears a belt that hang his 2 guns...and his ammo..a total of 10 clips.. Power: gunslinger Weapon(If any): [ can i show it in pictures..its easier..^^''']  if its too long tell me..^^ i change..though..i dont quite understand the weapon part..

Alright then, I think I'll close the cast for now until I figure out just how many characters will be involved. @Shinji- It's alright, I'll probably get a picture of the weapons my characters use too since I don't think many people have ever seen a German G36 or Tanfoglio Custom Hybrids's.^^;; |

@Bloodymoon- Yeah, I set Ayame to use a P14-45 because it's a light gun used by the police forces here where I live (In Canada). I got to fire it on a range along with a few other weapons about a year or two ago (I actually got to try the G36, Tanfoglio [Not the Custom Hybrid though] and a P14-45.) In the nick of time? When I said Cast Closed I meant anyone who hasn't decided to join can't. You posted here earlier than that (Also Lady Maia) so your still in. You can edit aspects of your character as much as you want for now, but when I get everything in order and start the RP I'm going with whatever your character profile says. So if you have any changes to your profile make them now.^^ (I am going to wait for Lady Maia before starting.) EDIT: Okay, adding in DN (Who PM'd me to join) we have about 14 separate members and about 16 characters in all. I think I'll keep the cast closed and start when everyone is ready and their profile acceptable. Note: If you have a picture of the weapon your character is using (Google search should solve that. It can be a real pic.) then put it in your characters profile. I want to see exactly what kind of weapon your using so I can set ammo, reload times and concealability rules for it if needed. |
