It's decided that I'll be cosplaying as Misa from Death Note for the next Cosplay event in Singapore. I really want to do a good job getting into Misa's character, so anyone has any tips? And if you had cosplayed as Misa before, please tell me which Misa's outfit you wore, how was Misa's personality you adopted and any advice for me? I'd really like it if you would want to mention some attributes of Misa that I should use (like she's really bubbly, cutesy etc) or any recommendations as to which of her outfits I should wear. p.s. does anyone know which episode of Death Note anime does Misa first appear in? I'd like to watch her. THANKS!!! ^.^ |

hmm..come to think of it..ive never seen anyone cosplaying some death note characters.. hey here's some tips! Misa is actually a rocker! a punk! you can just see thru it by observing her room! so definitely a lot of eye liner to deepen your eyes and also those short skirts w/ black stockings! dont forget that hair of coursE! anyway its not the way you dress as misa to keep your cosplay alive..its the way you act! go girl! be misa for one day! kill em with your deathnote! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!  |

Yeap.. wear something black... because i think Misa can wear everything.. not very specified.. and Rey-san is right.. the important part is the character and HAIR ^^

Misa~ I guess you can grab a few pictures of her that shows full details and anatomy. Her way of clothing is pretty much common so it's not that hard to cosplay her in a perfect look dattebayo~  |

hmmm...thanks for your replies! ^^ btw, I was thinking...u guys mentioned hair...well, I have trouble finding Misa's wig (but so far I'm alright in finding the right outfit!) and my parents would freak out if I dye my hair like Misa's hair colour. So my sister suggested I let my Misa hairstyle to be like the one from the Death Note 2 movie (fyi, in that movie, Misa has the same hairstyle but her hair is black instead). so....what do u guys think? |

i went to CF06 which was in KL,Malaysia.quite a number of people cosplay as Misa.i think getting your hair done like the one in movie is quite a good idea.XDD because last year's CF,mostly people cosplay as Misa from deathnote the movie instead of the manga. |
