For me The most saddest endings are Chrono Crusade & AIR Chrono crusade - when ROssete chritopher died it was verry sad i thought that they would live long but they just had 6 months to live AIR - She wouldnt live too long it was so sad she had an unkown sickness (i think its cancer she was so thin when she died)  |

Bokura ga Ita. the last episode was pretty sad cause Nanami didn't get to meet Yano even after so many years...and she's still waiting for him |

Chrono Crusade ending, it made me cry a river... Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, a sad anime, really cried on that one, on the first episode where the main character was late and caused his girlfriend got into an accident, and also in the ending. |

Peach Girl..just some pretty emotional scenes.. Last epi of Kyou kara maou..(just that moment) Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien..didnt cry..but a bit emotional in the head..+ the mixed feelings ( kind of like in Peach girl too)  |

@kltchero, that is so saddd!!!why do u ahve to put that up??huhuuu...chrno crusade definitely is a tear-jerker anime..i juz cant suppress my sadness at d end!! AIR TV:d ending plus d song r juz a perfect blend for sadness..it's so unfair for misuzu to die so early... Here n then,Now n there:not necessarily a sad ending but i sure will like to cry for it.   |

AFTER 6 months : The Church found them but they were too late..... they saw their body holding on each others hand.....  azamaria entered the house where Rossete and Chrono stayed and had a recall or some kind of a imagination how happy they were in the past 6 months   They Build Rossets Tomb near the orphan or the church i forgot hehehe sorry   The Last Happy MOMENTS....  SORRY FOR SPOILING THE STORY ;P |

That was sad even i didn' watch taht show yet well little! I watch chrono cross! that one was sad too and the girl was been killed by poster hero. It almost cry but didn't!!  |

I will like to said AirTV.. Most of the time it end up sad, Misuzu Kamio face all her problems even thou she knows she can't get near to anyone or she will face pain in her body. But AirTV show a very preplexing story line, you must follow up and not to skip. For Air Movie it is much more easy to understand, it show Kanna, the last of the winged beings, fell in love with her guardian Ryūya while being sequestered in a palace under penalty of death if she attempted to leave Both of the anime it show the best vote for 'Sad anime' in 2005. Air series always developed a very sad endings which really touches everyones heart , and so did I . I don't really know chrono crusade , but since the spoilers out ..... *Rush to the anime shop and finds the anime* |

I haven't seen most of the anime you all mentioned but of the ones I watched, Fate/Stay Night has to saddest ending. I really wished Saber wasn't so stubborn and stay with Shirou. They would have made a nice couple. Most other animes don't have an ending in the sense that the anime is a excerpt of the manga. And since manga can be on-going most of the time, the anime doesn't really "end". Ben  |

most of the animes ive seen had good endings, or endings that werent sad. the only anime i can really remember with a sad ending was digimon, and that was back when i was in sixth grade :P i really liked that show though, twas a sad ending T_T all the other animes ive seen had good endings, or endings that were not sad.

S-cry-ed had a sad ending (at least to me) Ryhou lost Sherice and Cougar died.=( I'll have to think fir a minute before i add to my list.  |

Well, yeah, Air's ending is pretty sad. Maybe Jubei-chan's one is sad also - you absolutely don't want Koinosuke to leave. Kanon 2002 has a good end. It's not sad, but it makes you cry... maybe because it's over :) Ragnarok The Animation's ending is sad in it's own way - kawai-so Iruga. |

CHRONO CRUSADE!!! I was a person back then. I could smile and laugh and... feel. All the colors... all the hurt... all the laughing... it all went away. All of them. They used words like brain damage... and cerebral trauma. But even then I understood. I was safe... safe from the bad thing. |
