.....I'm not pinoy nor japanese... But... I wanna ask if half pinoy half japanese are really common?? I know there are many pinoys out there, but halves... I really wanna know XD

acctually, yes.
pinoys are part:
chinese
spanish
japanese
american
african
indonesian
malaysian
pure pinoy are extinct.

even though japanese back then invaded our country and executed us, experimenting us, and enslaving us...we still forgive them...even though our elders still have a belief that japanese people chops people heads off as a punishment, we still forgive them.

same thing with the spanish...we still forgive them.

Yush~ The war was a long time ago anyway, besides, the Spanish people contributed at least a few...but I'm surprised pure pinoys are already extinct O.o is it because of the invasion or something?

Yush~ I've seen a lot of pinoys having chinky eyes, from what I've learned in my elementary days, our physical appearances are inherited from the Malays, Chinos and Indos~ that's all I know dattebayo~

Well.. not all are extinct... we still have tribes living somewhere in some parts of the country...

Well, there's one more now. My best friends in CA got married a while back, Filipino girl, Japanese boy, and they FINALLY had a baby last month. :D

ano ba kayo... ka dami kaya ng jap-pinoy sa atin. i have, like, three
friends who are, and THEIR friends who are also mix of the same kind are
from the japanese school. apparently, most of them have japanese dads
with pinay moms, but that totally doesn't mean that their moms were
japayukis, okay? wrong impression. totally. anyhow, their dads prefer them
studying in a japanese school with jap education, and so, we don't see
them around much or get to converse with them because they talk straight
jap and barely know any english. quite odd, really. oh, and the ratio of
korean and jap-pinoy in the philippines are almost equal. they're just
kinda unseen, as compared to the koreans. ^_______^

pure pinoys are still existing, and kuya bubble (lu bu) pointed it out
right on the bat. more like the aetas and the --- (i forgot what you call
them) --- are the origs, then the spaniards and the japs and the americans
came along... voila! mix breed! XD
lolz. just kidding.

i suppose the most common would be the spanish-pinoy and fil-am mix, but
i could just agree that there are many jap-pinoy as well. tago nga lang.
hahaha~ pero i think the most uncommon will be the chinese-filipino mix.
there's always that pure chinese kind of thing in their culture.
