I heard only a few of his songs. I like a couple like Ossan Ossan Ore Nanbo, but some others are kinda...I dunno, boring. So is he all that? or am I imagining things?  |

It really depends. His vocals may boter a lot of people, but he IS a talented guitarist. Songs of his that i suggest are Sheindemo Boogi Woogie, Senor Senora senorita, Freedom Fighters (my fave), and Fuminshou no nemurihime (which was my first myv song) Girls be ambitious is an okay song if you like slow stuff. |

All I can say is...ahem..his vocal is special^^" But he wins everything just from his guitaring skills. His accoustic dokusou is really different with his other harder songs~Few jrockers could actually 'attack' his guitar like he did *genki* But I'm a fan..^^ Burni Diru Noh~ *high five* my favourite is Freedom Fighter too~

You should see how jaw-dropping his guitar skills are. It's more of a poppin-pluckin-slappin fusion kind of a technique in finger-style. @_@ Although I'm a male he sure has a smexy voice hehe. Check his live performances on youtube. I agree that most people wouldn't like Miyavi's hard-rock/metal songs. But he sure has plenty of great songs, too, like Freedom Fighters (my fav too).  |

ZOMG I have to say... I logged on just to comment here. Yarsh, Miyavi is that good! Some of my favourites by him are "Senor Senora Senorita", "Freedom Fighters", "Rock no Gyakushu", "Pop Is Dead" and "Night In Girl".
