Visual novels Anime or Game?

| Do people consider visual novels anime or games? since they have been called both before... some visual novels include, Narcissu, Shuffle!, Ever 17, and Utawarerumono. |

I have no idea but I don't think so. Even School Days, which argueably is an anime rather than an eroge has no songs on the database...I remember someone requested Anata ga...Inai(with or without dots?) by Minami Kuribayashi, an ending theme, but it's not here. Actually I am not sure of the exact context of what happens around here(this is my first post, laugh out loud). On the other hand, if you look for Shuffle!, there's "Mirage Lulluby", which is the opening to the game rather than the opening to the anime...If I remember correctly the opening to the anime is "You", and both tracks are by YURIA.... Yeah, so can someone clarify? I really want to know so that I can request "Anata ga Inai" if it's allowed...  Haha, you amuse me. |

This site is only for anime songs...until School Days (which is an excellent H-game by the way...those "bad" endings!!!..YIKES!!) becomes an anime series the songs aren't allowed. As for "Mirage Lullaby" by YURIA technically it's the OP for the game but being ever so clever the creators added the song as a background song in one of the episodes...the one when Rin first meets Primula in the arcade the song plays in the background. So it's featured in the anime so it's included on the site. However they're some character songs from Shuffle! ie: Pureness & Memories which weren't in the anime...the music was but not the lyrics....so those shouldn't be on the site but Gendou-san has allowed them. to answere the question...visual novel games aren't anime so they aren't allowed on the site....until they are made into anime series like Fate/Stay Night, Shuffle!, Canvas, To heart...i could go on....then i guess it's okay....until then...  |

I see. So School Days is considered not to be an anime? Well, thankfully the anime version of School Days is coming out next year...I don't know whether or not the anime creators will use the same songs. Thanks for enlightening me..^_^ Haha, you amuse me. |
