So far it's following the manga pretty closely which is a good thing....the episodes with the doll (Ghost of Mateel) was done really well...kinda made me choke up a bit....sad episodes. Lenalee is as cute as ever....Allen is just as cool...& Kanda...the guy simply rocks! So far so good....hope the quality & awesomness continues.  |

yea, the Ghost of Mateel episodes was really touching. it's one of the few episodes which made me shed a tear or two (other than fruits basket) |

@ hikari sora I suggest you check out wikipedia....this site is very informative about alot of stuff. I too learn new things about my fave anime series that i never would've guessed. I'll give you the link...be warned though the info can sometimes cause spoilers...the site warns you about those. D.gray-man info on wikipedia It's a good idea to have Wikipedia bookmarked just for cases like these...another site is the ever useful "Animenewsnetwork". The anime just began a few weeks ago...it's up to episode 6 as we speak...the fansub is also up to episode 6. Dammit i was too slow.....yeah just like wat said.... @wat Nice to meet you! Enjoy yourself at Gendou....if you want more responses to your arrival i suggest creating a thread in the "Introduction" area. |

I prefer the manga though. I think the joke with the cat in the first episode got ruined in the anime.

Im up to the 6th episode as well and i am finding the anime to be really interesting and im hooked on watching the next one....damn akumas!

They're skipping a lot of important info and changing the story a little too. I hope they dont change it too much that it doesn't match up with the manga.  |

Well it is only a 26 some odd episode series so i doubt they'll be ale to fit everything unless they decide to do multiple seasons. Still i'm enjoying the series for what it is.....even though i agree with Xaria some points are being missed for the most part so far it's pretty similar to the manga. Hopefully the MAJOR points of the story & characters don't stray away too much...but if there are budget restraints (ie. Negima 1st tv series) stuff like these may happen...*cross my fingers* hope it doesn't happen. |

Is it really gonna be 26 episodes?! That'd be a bummer... I was hoping they'd follow the story of the manga and not end so soon~ This is the only manga i'm keeping very updated with. I soooO love it. Currently at manga chapter97 and anime only at ep4. I'd still prefer reading the manga but the anime is still cool. Jz hope there's not too much changes in the anime. Kanda's not 'pretty' enough in the anime(I mistook him for a female character when i first read the manga). |
