Hack G.U. Help plz (spoilers possible)^^

Ok straight to the point. I just want to know about the last quest job that is only available when you beat the game. How do i get that? I noticed in the guide that there are 3 like Xs next to 3 specific bosses. I kno i have to beat them to unlock the last quest unless im wrong. Did i have to beat it while in the game at that specific time? or can i beat them even after i beat the game? plz dont tell me i have to beat the game from that boss again T_T.  |

Umm it had a dvd but it was about what happened in the last 4 games well the anime was based on this game anyway so u could watch that. Sooo wat do u get in the last quest job? and you beat the game already? ive been playing for like 23 hours now and im still trying to fight bordeaux in the arena, how far am i like 25% of the game? |

Yea i did try using game faqs but i didn't find anything out. Is there any other way that i directly unlock the last quest job without haveing to beat teh game from the beginning? |

wait... had a DVD? what do you mean? they arent including the DVDs for its western release? (Dang...) @Xaria - Ah... i cant give any info about that now... im still thinking on getting this... since im not certain about the DVD... try browsing the forums on Gamefaqs... somebody might have answered your question Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Ooooh sry i didnt mean a anime dvd like infection and the others had more like it was a documentary about the story on the previous dot hack games. Its for people who never play dot hack like me :) i caught onto this series like after the outbreak came out and i had no clue since i was missing part 2 from the series. Well its good that GU came out so i can catch on this series starting with the first disc. Anyone know when disc 2 comes out? Hey Xaria can you tell me your stats on when you beat the game like level, game time, and completion percentage? cause the game came out in the US like on the 25th so how did you beat it sooo fast? I hope you didnt use a cheating device because that would really be a waste of playing rpg games unless its really hard like trying to beat Yunalesca in FF10. cant wait for 12 come out nov 1 hehehe |

Personally i haven't used a game shark or anything to that degree since Sega Genisis sonic tales and Knuckles. Overall the game was short as crap but good as hell (does that make sence? ^^;;; Anyways everyone is at level 50 and 999 exp best weapons alchemized finished all the jobs over aid say am about 85 % done including all the side stuff. I originally asked this questiong cuz i still cant seem to unlock the last job quest and its pissing me off. It says that i have to complete the indicated something and beat the game then i get it but i still can't seem to find it. I looked through like 500 threads and have turned up crap about how to get it. Am i stupid or something Blind maybe maybe someone can help me?^^ ***(MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD ABOUT VOL. 2 AND 3)*** I was looking through some of my sources and it seems like u get Tri edge, after he is ressurected, as a playble character in Vol. 3!!!! In vol. 2 he is ressurected by Balmung and Orca's AI busters. And it turns out that they in fact are not AIDA and they actually hate it. Not sure if thats true but im really anticipaing it. Im a sucker for rumors. ~_~ Nvm everyone i was kinda stupid to have not been able to unlock it. i found it after like an hour of trying. |

.hack//gu was just recently released here in the philippines. I haven't bought it yet. do you need internet connection to play it?

you cant do the last quest unless you beat the game only japan ver. has DVD bonus just like fatboy said but there are anime based on hack GU to be precise it's the prequel of hack GU, it tell you what exactly happen to haseo and shino and the twiglight brigade that mention in the game (spoiler: it mention by ovan commentating haseo fight with the commentator) the anime called .hack//roots and xaria if you haven't unlock it this is what you have to do, there something called abyss quest that are not stated as quest but you can get the address by searching trough the forum, there you'll be given some post the mention a dungeon with no enemy, or something like that, you have to go to that dungeon, if i remember correctly there are 3, then after you beat the game the quest guild offer you the last quest and if anyone know where the location of trifle guild shop let me know, THX

I fight tri edge in the last chapter of the game now.Tri edge is really hard to beat since his HP is 2000++.I'm still 1000++.Hehe! I don't care about the quest when I played hack//gu
Life is so cool...
Think that we have to work to survive in this world
Isn't that a kind of cool thing like leveling up in the game,huh?

| The movie DVD that all of u mention before was called "Terminal Disk". If u don't have it, u can search Youtube for the clips. There are nice people who share it for all of us. (Well sorry, I forgot his name, but u can search it using keyword "Terminal Disk", there are 12 of them). |

Nah, that game was too simple. I think there is no way to beat the last boss quest without playing the first two parts. As for tri-edge - he was pathetic. The only real problem was bounty-hunting, PKer named Greedy Servantes, because i lost to him countless time. It seems the only option is to fight them when you reach the level cap. |

Gamefaqs is indeed the best place to find anything you need. And by the way, the .Hack GU games are some of the best if not the best RPG series on the pS2. THe games are AMAZING. And yes, you do have to beat the game before you can attempt the final side quest of Volume 3 ( The Forest of Pain ). What you get for doing it, are you get an extended ending, a new character half-way through, some new weapons, useful items, and you get to fight the most powerful boss in the entire series at the end of it all ( afterwards unlocking that extended ending ). |
