Hmm...I suppose that whistling tune from Kill Bill. That's really errie especially if used in an anime. I'm refering to AMV Hell 3. After it's lengthly introduction, it opens up with a clip from Azumanga Daioh. If you want to find out, search up Azumanga Daioh AMV Hell 3 |

Hmmmm...... anything by Nobuo Uematsu, One-Winged Angel, like you mentioned. Showdown at Hollow Bastion from KH2 by Yoko Shimomura...... Uh, I can't think of anything right now. |

For evil sounding music, there is Never Tommorow (Silent Hill), In Room 302 (Silent Hill 2), the entire soundtrack to Silent Hill 3 (especially Lost Carol), Room of Angels (Silent Hill 4), other songs by Akira Yamaoka (ifuturelist, Love Me Do), Ghaleon's theme (Lunar II), Magus' theme (Chrono Trigger), Bloodsoaked Toccata (Castlevania COD), Dracula's Castle (Castlevania SOTN), Festival of the Damned (Castlevania SOTN), Inverse Chapel (Castlevania SOTN), Sealed Books (FF V), Dancing Mad (FF VI), Seymore's Theme (FF X), Scorpion Fire (IIDX), and the Shinra Mansion Theme (FF VII). |

Like Ayu said, Aura from .hack//sign is pretty evil sounding. (Especially the appropriately named "Aura Evil" version) |

I made a mistake on my last post, the song from Castlevania COD is not Bloodsoaked Toccata, but rather A Toccata into Bloodsoaked Darkness. My Appologies. I also have thought of a few other songs. Such as The Dark Holy Man (Castlevania COD), Metamorphosis into Abyss (Castlevania COD), Carmina Burana (specifically the final movement), Mars, the Bringer of War (Gustav Holst, from the Planets Suite), and, both by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Requiem (Beethoven's Fifth), and Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 (Carol of the Bells). Unfortunately, the last song is kind of related to the Christmas, but it was written as a musical interpertation of the fire-bombings of Sarajevo on Christmas Eve. |

I'd go for Griever's theme from FFVIII or maybe Edea's Theme, those are quite eerie, and rather catchy.. >>;;; you might try Cherry Filter - DR. FAUST, best haunting tune yet. Though maybe Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Room of Angel, would be better. Everything I've heard from Buck-Tick so far, has that vampiric eerie-ness to it.

Ack...evil songs... Well you may find tid bits from certain anime soundtracks, but if you want like really evilness in your music you should check out some gothic bands. Malice Mizer or Moi dix Mois. Pipe organs and choirs galore. Other Japanese goth bands.... Schwarz Stein Blood Phantasmagoria Vidoll Ayabie 12012 Alice 9 Dispair Ray Ou, and just for the sake of recommending good music, check out Ali Project. Yes they did the openings for Rozen Maiden, though they aren't evil or scary, they are still good. Its gothic lolita music, so it's creepy yet elegant. |
